The one thing she has never done publicly, though, is express her preference for a specific political party or political candidate.

Because of her charitable work, you might assume that she is very liberal, and that she is supporting either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders in the upcoming Presidential Election.

You would be wrong.

She is actually a Donald Trump supporter, and is working behind the scenes to get him elected!

In her opinion, electing Trump will lead to less racial divisions and better economic opportunities in the United States… as well as a safer environment for disadvantaged women and children around the world.

    And, to all those that don’t understand how “how anyone with a brain can vote for Trump,” well I feel the same way about Hillary supporters. And, I’m in Mensa and have built a very successful business over the last twenty years.

    What has Hillary or Bill ever built? How much Payroll has Trump paid over the years? Yet, Bill and Hillary have amassed a $200M fortune, as former public servants.

    She has done a ton of charitable work dating back to 2008 or earlier, with a special emphasis on women, mothers and children around the world, and even has her own charity. I think this may be her.

    I support Bernie. But if he doesn’t win the nomination, I’m in a pickle. As much as Hillary seems right for America, I don’t think she shows who she really is. Folks say Trump is racist, but he talks like every 65+ year old in the US, including probably Hillary behind doors. At least he can structure and run an organization, which I’ve never seen Hillary do well. My gut says no to her. But it’s still unsure about Trump. Canada?

    Just did a little searching. Jolie spoke out against Trump in a speech she gave in London. I was shocked at the thought it might be her. I don’t think it is. She is too smart to support that guy.

    Angelina Jolie supports Trump. Who cares what she or any other celeb thinks. I’ve always thought celebs should encourage people to vote, and that’s all. We could care less about their opinions-or at least I could. I’m smart, am college-educated, have a career, and don’t need people who play dress up for a living telling me how to vote.

    There’s a fallacy that only liberals are charitable. Conservatives prefer to not be taxed to death and be forced to contribute ridiculous things. I dunno about the actress–not many clues. I’m not into giving money to corrupt governments where the needy will never see the cash like the Haiti thing.

    Actress: Angelina Jolie. This doesn’t surprise me at all. (Full disclosure though, I’ve never liked Angelina – so this fits with my image of her).

    Optional: God, it’s impossible to say. Trump is (as far as I’m concerned) a narcissistic, untruthful, generally unlikable option. Hilary isn’t everything she pretends to be, but she has a better chance of getting things through a hostile congress than Bernie does.

    Essentially, it’s a question of who can do the least damage. How inspiring.

    * I live in Michigan and everything that Trump has said about NAFTA and TPP and TTIP is correct – these bad trade deals hurt our auto manufacturers, subsidiaries & other manufacturing businesses a great deal & push companies to close U.S. manufacturing, relocate out of the country and/or use automation instead of people for jobs. Our economy is suffering from bad trade deals.

    Angelina Jolie. She’s stated in the past she isn’t democrat and if you’ve followed her career and interviews it is obvious from her passions and vies she is more republican. Very freedom orientated. Loves guns in movies and has spoken about how much she loves them in general and has worn gun jewelry. Strong dislike of control i.e. big government.

    Do people really think charitable work = liberal? I know quite a lot of people that are very charitable (they volunteer at womens shelters, homeless shelters, in education, and other areas) and they’re probably split equally as far as liberal/conservative.

    Who I’m leaning towards: Gary Johnson. I just can’t with the other 3 candidates, and I do consider myself more libertarian than the other political parties.

      How will he bring jobs to this country? What has he laid out as a plan to bring stable, well paying jobs here? Capitalism, as we do it in the US, is dependent upon extremely cheap labor. If corporations can pay far, far less overseas, why should they come here? We cannot force companies to produce here because that simply is not free market capitalism. We cannot match the foreign market on labor and other resource costs. So I am very curious as to how Trump has an answer that the last 35 years…

      Trump will not bring jobs back to the US. He sends them out of the country. His clothing line is Hecho in Mexico. He also hires the same undocumented workers he proclaims to hate on his build sites… and if that was not enough he also imports chefs and other workers from other countries, getting them VISAS to work his hotels/be chefs and more – rather than hiring Americans living in America.

      Oprah?!? Nothing about this description fits Oprah. Although she does occasionally act, she would not be identified as an actress. Most people would not call her beautiful, although she is attractive. And most significantly, she very publicly supported Obama when he was initially elected. She hosted fundraisers, hit the campaign trail, and was very vocal about her support for him.

      You got that right! Though it’s not as simplistic as it’s portrayed. Angelina is a declared independent because she knows that no matter who is elected she will have to work with that person, hence, she never openly endorses any candidates (based on Andrew Norton’s biography of her). So, don’t get too excited.
