EXCLUSIVE![Blind Gossip] A major personal conflict on the set of this prime time network TV show… has resulted in one of the stars getting fired!
Two of the female starssimply could not get along.
We’ll call them Sweety and Pizza.
The problems started a couple of years ago and spiraled from there. [Sweety] wanted to be treated like the female lead because her character was more important.
However, she felt like [Pizza] was constantly trying to undermine her, her salary, her story lines, her number of lines, etc. She decided she didn’t want to share any more scenes or dialogue with [Pizza].
Since [Sweety] actually does have the bigger role, which gives her more pull with the network, the writers rewrote scenes to keep the two of them apart.
Long story short, despite these efforts, the tension and constant rewriting got to be too much for everyone. Producers decided it would just be easier to give Pizza the boot.
The decision was made and the writers reworked the story lines to get rid of [Pizza]. She will be exiting at the end of this current season. They will spin it to say that it was her choice to leave, but it definitely was not!
In our experience, the drama and trauma of ousting one of the stars of a successful show is usually over with in a flash. As long as the writers are good, they can exit a problem actor and their character without the fans being any the wiser.
By the way, the show’s titular lead is male. He is not involved with this.

Smart move by producers? No, not at all! Danielle’s characters are WAYYY better than Candice’s. WTF?! They already ruined the show with Iris, they can’t write Killer Frost/Caitlin off.
Plus, I thought that Carlos Valdes was the main character leaving the show at the end of this season. They can’t lose TWO main characters in one season.

This. I like Danielle Panabaker as an actress. Don’t watch Flash, so can’t speak to her efforts on this show; however, if she leaves, I will certainly give her next project a try!

There has been other blinds about issues on the show…. Is it hormones, egos or do they all just hate each other. I don’t watch it anymore as I thought it got a bit rubbish so maybe just put it out of it’s misery, like the Arrow????

I’m not sure if they all hate each other, but they’re one of the most unenthused tv casts I’ve ever seen when it comes to their show. I’m sure it’s because previous show-runner, Andrew Kreisburg sewed seeds of discord, especially between Patton and Panabaker. He even reduced Patton’s role in the first ten episodes of the second season, even though she is the leading lady, and Panabaker was often seen as complicit by comments she made in interviews.

Danielle Panabaker and Candice Patton from The Flash. I’m assuming Danielle is leaving, it’d be easier to write her character out than Candice’s.
They’ve never seemed to get along anyway. In earlier seasons Danielle tried to push her and Grant’s character dating when no one else in the cast was

Assuming pizza is Danielle Panabaker and sweety is Candice Patton from the flash? Which would mean lead actor is Grant Gustin. Guessing based on the ‘successful show is usually over with in a flash’ and Danielle acting like liking pizza is a personality trait. If so, I’m glad! Danielle’s always seemed shady. 👀

Smart move? Definitely. There have been rumblings for years about Panabaker undercutting Patton and trying to steal the leading lady spot from her. Thus, I also can’t see how this is about any other show.

Optional: A smart move by the producers. Danielle’s character is the weakest part of the show and it’s so obvious that she’s wanted role as lead actress since day 1. Plus Candice unfollowed her on all social media a while ago.
