wet blanket[Blind Gossip] It’s been a few years since they did a movie together, but these famous male actors (who tend to work together in various combinations) are still hating on this actress.

Sure it was a fraternity kind of set, but we thought she would fit in. Instead, she was acting like a b*tch on set. We were cracking up all the time and having fun, but she was like this wet blanket of feminism who was annoyed by everything we said and did. She had no sense of humor about anything.

What did our source mean by “fraternity kind of set”? Well, we heard that the actors were drinking and smoking weed on set, pulling gross practical jokes, walking around in their underwear, and basically acting immaturely.

Our actress has been working professionally for over ten years and was genuinely offended that the set environment was so unprofessional. In the end, she finished up the gig but privately swore that she would never work with those guys again.

    I’ve been accused of being a SJW and a feminazi, but I’m not sure what work ethics or immaturity have to do with gender (or intersectional) equality… On that note, I’m all for farting and gross humor and enjoy some frat-type movies, but they breed this kind of resentment. I have no good guess though, I could see Adam Sandler or James Franco’s Child Schtick getting limp over this one.

    Well the guys have gotta be some of the members of the James Franco/Jonah Hill/Seth Rogen/Danny McBride/Vince Vaughn crew…my first thought was Katherine Heigl because she’s such a b* but I don’t think she’d been acting for 10 years when she did Knocked Up. maybe Natalie Portman who did “Your Highness” with some of those guys? I was surprised she agreed to that film in the first place.

    I think the guys. I like Emma, but that movie was making fun of the whole Hollywood system, including themselves and how ridiculous they become. She took herself way too seriously.
    I think there was a piece about how she refused to do something that was in the script all along because she was uncomfortable, yet why say yes to begin with…

    Gross practical jokes (bodily fluids, crude, etc?) plus being intoxicated ON SET- all of this from the liability of an accident to the creepy frat factor… get me the hell out of there.

    Side? It depends on how rowdy the set really was. I can picture them completely off the rails, which would put me squarely in the camp of whomever wanted them to grow the heck up and do their jobs. But, if she was getting all Year One Hermione on them for every little step outside the lines, I can see how they’d still be irked to this day….

    I don’t know who this is but as soon as someone is described as being a wet blanket of feminism who can’t take a joke I would be inclined to think maybe that is because the woman felt rightfully uncomfortable. From this blind I’m picturing a bunch of disrespectful guys making sandwich jokes and getting high and a woman who’s sick of the jokes trying to show to work and do her job, so purely going from the info provided I’d be on her side.

    She supposedly was so offended by some of the on set antics she walked off set. Franco mentioned this incident in an interview with Mila Kunis, who said she would never do that.
    On the actors side, she had to know what kind of set when she saw who was involved.

    I didn’t care for the movie, it was sloppy. Now I know why. It was one big joke to them, but unfortunately, that hilarity didn’t extend to the final product.

      Who’s side am I on? Even though the men’s behavior is stupid and juvenile, it’s more stupid to think the actors involved would be professional. We’re talking about Seth Rogan, James Franco, Jonah Hill and Jay Baruchel. First of all, they’re all comic actors. whereas Emma is not. They’re young rich and American, whereas Emma is British and proper. The only other crew she could have gotten with that would be a worse clash is Adam Sandler and his gang.
