The Wasted Haircut

[Blind Gossip] You may have noticed this female celebrity sporting a radically different hairstyle from what she has had in the past.

You may think that she considered it for a while, looked at photos in magazines for ideas, booked an appointment with a salon, etc.

Nope!

She was completely wasted and ranting about her ex. Then she just grabbed a pair of scissors and started hacking away. She stopped after a couple of minutes and realized what she had done. Then she had a stylist come over. They tried to fix it but couldn’t so she just said, “Cut it all off!”

Not exactly a Britney moment with buzz clippers. But close.

    Katy Perry – I don’t think the blond short cut suits her face – it makes her look like an old gal who has been around the track a few times. I liked her dark long hair with her vivid blue eyes and fair complexion –
    Good thing hair grows back – Being upset about a breakup can bring on some traumas but self mutilation does not fix anything –

    Perhaps if the hair was dark I would not find it so distasteful on her –

    Katy Perry. At one point she claimed it was so damaged from being bleached blonde that she decided to cut it all off.

    Katy Perry. The short hair isn’t that bad, but the blonde is a disaster. I could not even venture as guess as to which ex…could be several.

    Katy Perry but while everyone is saying it was over ex Orlando Bloom I’m going to vote that it was really over on again off again ex John Mayer…..because he had recently released that song about her and maybe she was hoping it meant he wanted to get bavk together again. Hence the drunk tirade and hair cutting.

    I gotta agree that Katy can rock any look though. She’s got a beautiful face, no hair can take that away.

    It looks hideous! She looks awful. Ages her by 10 Years and the color is awful as well. She is far from a petite pixie like person. Poor thing. She needs to get off the drugs and get her act in check. Her media rants have been very telling. She needs help, she’s cracking.

      A person’s height and body shape and size plays a HUGE role in whether short short hair is flattering. Short hair doesn’t work on every woman.

      Long bangs is still the pixie cut, and she’s cut the bangs off since. Personally, I don’t like the cut without the long bangs, but it doesn’t matter what we think as long as she’s good with it. Either way, hair grows back, and she can afford a good weave once it’s long enough, so she’s good.

      Is that you Katy? :’) Her hair is a mess, she is a mess. She looks like a well preserved 50 yr old. She was always plain, but this hairstyle makes her look even more so.

      That’s correct. Pixies are for pixies. As both a hairdresser and a tall woman who’s had very short hair I can assure you it’s a fact.

      I agree….the cropped hair does NOT suit her. Lucky for her it will grow back.

      It has nothing to do with the woman’s height or body shape….just the facial structure. Elfin cuts are best suited to faces with delicate features….narrow pert nose, defined cheekbones, angular jawline. Kate Perry has bold features. She’s certainly attractive….just doesn’t suit such a short cut.

    She looks awful now. Those long dark locks really were her friend. Buzzcut blonde makes her so unattractive. She looks like a thumb now.

    I happen to ❤ it, especially on her. I think I read somewhere that she is naturally light haired, too. I like the lighter tresses. The dark hair was not my favorite look for her light skin color.

    Unfortunately, No. I’m not a fan of her short hairdo. She looks better and younger when it’s her natural dark brown color and at least shoulder lenghth. JMO ? if blind about her.

      Changing my answer or leaning more towards Katy Perry…lol. She (allegedly right before and after her and Russel split) had drunken tantrums at her house throwing and breaking stuff badmouthing their relationship.
      I don’t remember reading anything like that about Kristen’s relationships. She’s more mellow and gets bored quickly, haha, but not a firecracker (no pun intended) like Katy which again makes me think not her…and that her Kristen’s haircut was planned.

      Cara was going to shave for her movie and she had a smaller cut before.
