[Blind Gossip] You might think that this wife of a professional athlete made a huge mistake by threatening to divorce him and then never following through.

Maybe not.

He begged her not to divorce him and then did an agreement where he has to pay her $1M in cash every time time he cheats on her. She has a separate bank account for this and she has been racking up the payments. It’s a little embarrassing when the press catches him but it is what it is.

If she divorced him, she would ostensibly get half of their considerable fortune, but she would lose the fame and “brand” that comes with being part of a famous couple. With the payment plan, she continues to benefit as a couple while earning more than she would if she had two jobs.

Guess she considers the trade offs among marriage, dignity, fame, and money a fair one?

In the meantime, her husband continues to act like a dog. Yes, he cheated on her again this month.

    I can only think of the Beckham’s because of “brand” Beckham, and because Victoria has had two careers: two jobs.

    I personally would never sacrifice my self worth like that. I’d rather be separated than take money because my husband stepped out on me. How humiliating! It must be terrible for the kids too. They are learning that a dysfunctional relationship is normal.

    By putting a price on infidelity, you are really putting a price on how much money he is willing to lose to not be with you just for a night. So humiliating. Just do the open marriage thing on both parts or end it. Hollywood relationships……

    Kobe Bryant. They just had a baby this month so the “yes he cheated this month” makes sense.

    The picture shows 4 women and they just had their 4th daughter. Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce in 2011 and then they reconciled. She gets money every time he cheats.

    Hmmmm…Tom Brady & Gisele? My first thought was Becks but I can’t see him begging VB to stay (probably exactly the opposite) & paying her $1 million each time he cheats! Then thought Wayne Rooney but there again, I can’t see him begging Colleen to stay after so many cheats. Brady might with Giselle because she is still very famous as an ex-model & ups his brand value & probably his ego via his pride in nabbing her. Plus since she has retired, she no longer works.
