[Blind Gossip] This singer says that he has never been to rehab or therapy for his drug use.

He’s lying.

He checked into rehab two years back. He was at [name of facility]. He was struggling with opiate addiction, specifically [drug, drug, drug]. He was quietly pushed into it by his team. He’s in a good place right now, but he doesn’t always surround himself with the best people.

Good for him for getting help. It’s interesting, though, that his famous musical girlfriend also likes to pretend that she doesn’t go to rehab for drug issues!

    I suppose they lie about rehab to try to save face, or maybe because they just go thru the motions of going to rehab, but are either in denial, or simply have no real intentions of quitting.

    The public can be unforgiving sometimes. Especially if you keep relapsing and repeating mistakes. Same sex hook ups are also a no-no and the reason why so many celebrities and athletes remain deep in the closet.

      It specifically says “opiate addiction, specifically drug, drug, drug” so while I do agree it’s The Weeknd, IDK why everyone is guessing coke and benzos- it’s gotta be 3 opiates so: either codeine, oxycontin, and Vicodin which would be my guess.. but it could unfortunately also include heroin. Regardless, glad he’s doing well now. And I can understand not wanting to have “recovering drug addict” become part of your name, definitely.
