The Marriage Mystery

bride and groom 13[Blind Gossip] As if this top actor didn’t have enough troubles, those closest to him are now questioning the legitimacy of his marriage to an actress.

They had a civil ceremony in the States, followed by a couple of private wedding parties. What’s strange is that none of us (his friends/family) were invited to the civil ceremony and there are no photos from it.  [His wife] also said that she was going to change her last name to his after they married, but she never did. It just doesn’t add up. [A relative] asked him if they were “really” married, and he avoided giving a direct answer, saying, “Well, you were at the wedding, weren’t you?” It’s all a bit mysterious.

We know that no one can find any courthouse records about the marriage (although, depending on the state, some records can be kept private), so it is not altogether surprising that even those closest to to the actor are questioning if he is legally married.

    This sounds like Hollywood’s Fester and Debbie, aka Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. She had said she was going to take his last name.

    His problems? His weight and aging looks, dipped career, that awful Alice in Wonderland sequel coming up, likely marriage problems, bringing the dogs secretly into Australia (not over yet)…

    I don’t think this is Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. She actually legally changed her name to Depp last year sometime……not professionally, but legally.

    I am wondering about Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux (sp?). I know they had a ceremony of some kind but Jimmy Kimmel officiated it. Wondering if he is legit for being able to perform weddings that are actually legal.

      Anyone can get certified to officiate a wedding, I know multiple guys that have done it and officiated their friends’ weddings. So it is possible for Kimmel to actually be ordained.

      That said… I have no idea who the blind is about.

    Optional: No. I don’t think they are legally married. He didn’t legally married Demi ,so I don’t think he’s going to do a turn about and married her.

      Excellent guess. I was thinking Amber Heard and Johnny Depp, but we saw photos of their wedding on that private island with people attending. We’ve seen NOTHING of Ashton and Mila.

    They’re legal. Amber doesn’t seem like a golddigger to not have her i’s and t’s dotted and crossed.

    Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. This is based on the note that they married “in the States,” which would be an unusual thing to say of two US citizens, and Reynolds is Canadian. But I’m overly confident about this guess, so look forward to hearing what others have to say.

      No way ha! Amal is under contract bearding for Clooney who has political aspirations so would he really risk a faux marriage if he wants to hold office? It’d be so easy to check.

    Joe Managianello and Sofia Vergara come to mind, but this is probably not correct. I just never believed in them as a couple, because of the blinds on here and don’t believe their marriage is real.

      Plenty of pics of their wedding floating around out there including video and it was a HUGE affair full of friends family etc.

    [Optional] Do you think that they are legally married? I never gave it much thought until now. It is odd that there are no pictures of the civil ceremony. My sister did something similar. She suddenly got married. There was no announcement in the paper or any pictures. My mom & I made her show us the marriage certificate. The odd thing is she was in town for less than the required waiting period once a couple applies for a license.

    I know that Brangelina reportedly had a civil ceremony in the States before their wedding overseas, but I don’t remember any claims to her taking his name after they married. Could it be them?

    I think they are and that they did it for their kids. They are the only reason it happened.

    I’m not sure, but the same thing was inferred about Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade’s shmarriage (sham + marriage=shmarriage)

      At first I was going to say “na….” but then I realized the pic with the blonde woman and the brunette guy could represent them. The guy in the photo has a similarity to Justin. And Aniston has not changed her name yet, unlike Angelina who now goes by “Jolie-Pitt.” Blind Gossip hides clues in the photos, and this photo doesn’t look like Angie and Brad, so we can rule them out.

      But the blind is about a “top actor” – does he qualify as that? Also, wouldn’t Jen get top billing in this relationship?

      I am currently watching him in The Leftovers and i’m loving him to be honest. I thought he was just a hanger onerer (?!) but her can act. I agree with this guess.

      Yeah, he’s not a top actor, nor is he known for having “troubles.” What troubles? Depp is the currently-troubled top actor.

      Everyone keeps saying Angelina is now Jolie-Pitt. She’s not: all the kids are known as Jolie-Pitt, but not her…

      Given all the Amber Heard sinking her teeth into Johnny Depp aka social climber goldigger blinds do we really think she’d let him get off without really marrying her? Plus he never married Vanessa so why would he present a facade here. I don’t think so.

      Maybe that’s why she’s letting him drink himself away- because if he gets sober he’ll leave, and she gets nothing.

      However, I don’t think this is about them. It says “as if this top actors doesn’t have enough troubles.” What’s Brad’s troubles? He isn’t known for being “troubled.” Johnny Depp, however, is/has been troubled….

      Yeah and aren’t there plenty of pics of it and I am sure Brad wouldn’t be this flippant. Unless they are referring to the ‘other problems’ being Angie indeed having a drug habit, they are portrayed in the press as having wonderful family life and philanthropic streak. This blind sounds more like someone with ongoing rumors/press issues ala Depp’s drinking and accidents. What couldn’t ‘didn’t have enough troubles” mean to Justin and Jennifer?
