[Blind Gossip] You may recall that this celebrity couple signed a very lucrative deal to produce TV shows.

So… where are the shows?

Have you heard about any specific projects?

Want to hear about their first one?

Here you go!

They have their first project and it is going to be huge. They are going to shock and awe right out of the gate. It will be the most watched TV show ever in the history of television.

Then their show would have to be bigger than any Super Bowl.

Bigger than the finale of M*A*S*H.

Bigger than his parent’s wedding.

Are they going to achieve that by doing a documentary about people in unfortunate circumstances who rise up, not just to survive, but to thrive?

No.

They are going to do something controversial. Something with shock value!

A birth.

A live birth.

Her live birth.

Showing everything from beginning to end.

It’s happening!

The live aspect of this production is tricky as she could be in labor for many hours or even days. They are looking at this as a Truman Show concept where it would be broadcast 24/7 from the beginning of labor to a couple of hours after birth.

The production crew are all from reality television, and there will be multiple production teams.

Wow. So this will be a live streaming event, possibly lasting for days, that will be produced like a reality show.

Are there any surprises planned?

He will be calling his family in the middle of it. That should be interesting.

Also, their [other child] will appear on camera.

How will the finances work on the streaming side?

They expect that as soon as it’s announced, there will be an uptick in subscribers. Then there is the money from the sponsors.

Will they be able to line up sponsors for that long of an event?

They already have tentative commitments from over a dozen sponsors. Not just baby related products. Major companies like Nike, P&G, Farmer’s Insurance, BMW, Coca-Cola. Everybody wants in!

The money-making would not end at the live event, either.

Of course, the entire thing will be filmed. After the live event, the footage will be compiled and edited into a shorter and more polished product of about two hours of highlights that will be used for repeat broadcasts.

So the money will roll in eternally. This will certainly establish the couple as real players in the entertainment industry.

Here is something that is a little surprising.

She wants this to be raw and show the birthing process for what it really is. It won’t just be close up shots of her face grimacing in pain.

We’re almost afraid to ask. What does that mean?

Full frontal. You will see everything. It will be more shocking and more talked about than Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct.

So… there goes that whole privacy thing.

At least that should dispel any rumors about a surrogate.

Are they doing this to purposefully shock his family?

No, this is about raw honesty and living an authentic life and making it on his own in the real world.

He is now a self-made man. His family does not control him any longer. You will hear more about that directly from him during the show.

If everything goes according to plan, they will become two of the most formidable figures in the entertainment industry.

She, especially, will walk away from this as a role model who is unflinchingly honest and brave and authentic. She is one of the most popular people in the world right now and she wants to keep that momentum going. After this, she will have every woman in the world on her side. She can parlay that into bigger things.

Bigger things? Let’s skip that for now.

Back to the birth deal.

Although it will be a live event, it seems that the action won’t be entirely spontaneous and real and unscripted.

You can’t just sit around and hope that somebody spontaneously says or does something interesting every few minutes. Obviously, there is going to be a lot of B roll as filler. The live action will be part documentary and part reality show with a narrative and specific plot points. They are working with everyone to give them direction and some scripted lines to keep it interesting.

Will you give us an example of a scripted line from the upcoming “biggest event in all of television history”?

At the peak of labor, the husband will look between her legs, turn to camera and joyously shout, “She’s crowning! She’s crowning!”

Well, that was fast!

Netflix will be live streaming the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s second child!

Netflix is set to make a formal announcement on Friday, but your friends at Blind Gossip are going to provide you with some key details ahead of time!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will executive produce the show through their production company, Archewell Productions.

They have hired practically the entire crew from Keeping Up With The Kardashians to handle the production.

Given that this will be a documentary/reality show, it does make sense to have a crew that knows how to handle reality TV.

Here’s something interesting: Although Harry and Meghan say that they will be having a “home birth,” filming will NOT take place at their house in Montecito!

No, they are not going to shoot the whole thing in black and white under a tree!

They are actually building a set that will replicate key rooms of their home for this production.

Sneaky!

The set is already under construction on the Sunset Bronson Studios lot, which is the Netflix production hub in Los Angeles.

While the exact date of the event is not yet known, they are tentatively planning on the birth happening the first week of July, 2021. Mark your calendars.

Will it set ratings records? Who knows. In any case, this is going to be an extraordinary event.

We can’t wait to hear Prince Harry shout, “She’s crowning! She’s crowning!”

The first set looks very similar to their living room in the house in Montecito. We even spied a photo of Queen Elizabeth on a table in the background!

The idea for this year’s April Fool’s blind item came from several recent events.

  • Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s chronic media presence despite their stated desire for privacy
  • H & M’s announcement of a home birth
  • H & M’s huge deal with Netflix
  • Sharon Stone’s recent discussion of her famous interrogation scene in Basic Instinct

We put it all together and came up with a wacky home birth plan and a Netflix production where Meghan gives Queen Elizabeth and the world the full hoo ha.

    Meghan pursued Harry with the intention of becoming the next Princess Diana. When that didn’t work she decided to take her toys, aka Harry and Archie, and go home. She’s a piece of work.

    I think this may be my favourite april fools blind yet, hilarious. Its obviously supposed to be Harry and Megan. I hate shows to do with giving labour, so I wouldn’t watch at all, no matter who it was.

    P.s i totally could see beyonce doing this except not live cos she seems a control freak. She’d have costume changes, a fan blowing her hair and be singing/lipsyncing for her life. All the while Jay Z narrates and blue ivy delivers the baby, while the twins hover above like angels.
