He was making millions and spending millions and gambling millions. He was always chasing the rush from being a star to having affairs to betting on everything. He just loved the ride and thought the ride would never end.

    But I don’t feel bad for him, except in the way that I feel bad for all talented people who can’t break the cycle of abuses.

    He was arrested on Jan 17th for writing $13,000.00 worth of bad checks. I do feel bad for him because gambling is an addiction and he needs to get help. He seems like he may be a good person with very bad habits. This is a difficult one.

    Chris Hanson. Do I feel bad for him? Yes and no. Gambling is an addiction. But, it’s hard to feel bad for someone who blew MILLIONS. Wow. Hopefully, this is rock bottom for him and he’ll get help.

    [Optional] Do you feel sorry for him? No, if you know you can’t handle finances then hire someone who can and he certainly had the resources (money and network support). No excuse. But I do appreciate how he was exposing pedo’s.

    It doesn’t matter how rich you are or become, if you are a compulsive gambler, you WILL end up broke. It happens every time. There is no amount of money you can make that you can’t wager and throw away.

    You didn’t say what kind of star . So i am going to guess it is a Sports star and that would narrow my guess down to Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman, or Jose Canseco .

    In part, yes, I do feel sorry for him simply because in my opinion, 1. it’s highly likely he had no financial guidance to help him with his exorbitant amounts of money coming in. 2. No genuine or decent company to help him with his decisions and lack of control over his money i.e gambling. Most of the company he kept probably just loved hanging off him.
