[Blind Gossip] This comedic movie star’s appearance on a TV talk show was anything but funny.

The producer of Sunrise, a morning show in Australia, said the following in an interview with News.com.au:

She’s a massive star making big movies, but there wasn’t much she found funny. Maybe our Aussie humour was lost in translation, but she snapped and insulted her way through our interview. Maybe we just caught her on a bad day.

    Amy Schumer . I think she is standoffish off camera and I could see it being her. She is basically mediocre as a talent. There are quiet a few who don’t like her looks but this male thinks she has a cute face and sexy body. Obviously John Cena is into plump women but I think the encounter traumatized Amy Schumer .

    brad pitt was on the original dallas but he wasn’t the star of it..he became big when “Thelma and Louise” came out in theaters.
    neither his nor be ben afflecks bio says they have a child with someone else, in fact bens says his first child is with his now ex wife jennifer ..so going with BRAD

    Could that mean Melissa McCarthy, who is no longer massive or big in size. but in star power?

    Amy Schumer?

    If it’s Amy Schumer, I think she’s mean in real life. She’s hysterical on stage and in movies, but it’s obvious she has a sarcastic, cutting, nasty side to her. It’s funny in the movies for 2 hours, but not in the everyday world.

    The incredibly unfunny and obnoxious Amy Schumer who I hope is nearing the end of her career. She’s a Chelsea Handler-lite imo.

      Could not agree more! I tried watching a couple of her projects but don’t find her funny. She tries too hard to be the edgy female comic. Now Goldie, that’s another story. Talent galore (though the face has had much too much work).

      It’s almost like you’ve been in my head. Everything you said I agree 100% Wish Goldie hadn’t jacked with her face so badly. It’s so unfortunate.

    I know Amy Schumer was really insulted by an Australian host calling her a “skank”, and she made fun of him through the rest of the interview. But that was back when she was promoting “Trainwreck”. Could this blind be from that long ago??

    This makes me think of Amy Schumer. She has been promoting her movie with Goldie Hawn.

    I think she is a mean girl!!!

      This was my initial thought, too. You hit the nail on the head, she often seems *mean* in interviews. Not as a comedic device, just because she might not be a nice human beinv general.

      I hope I’m wrong about her, I hate to think poorly of anyone. And she seems to be pretty strong helping her dad.

      Yes! Amy Schumer is mean and she seems to think that being mean is funny. It’s not.

    Sunrise is kind of an embarrassment and joke, the segment they put Kristin Davis made me feel embarrassed for all of them. Who do they think they are, Trish and Suze of the “The Sizzle?”
