[Blind Gossip] We’ve always thought this singer had a nice, affable kind of personality.
He is the kind of easy-going guy that you could picture yourself hanging out with, drinking beer or shooting pool.
Don’t let his easy-going nature fool you!
He is totally no nonsense when it come to making sure he is ready for anything.
Allow us to explain.
Our singer is a prepper!
He’s not one of those loony End of Days survivalist kind of people, but someone who is prepared for a disaster. If anything happens, he has everything set up where he and his can bunker down and ride out any kind of catastrophe.
What does he have ready?
Everything! Shelter, food, water, power sources (solar and fuel), medical supplies, weapons. He has enough for a FULL YEAR where he won’t have to depend on anyone for anything.
What is he prepared for?
Fire, flood, earthquake, civil war, EMP disaster, you name it. Basically, any event where the SHTF.
Zombie apocalypse?
LOL. Yeah, probably. Actually, he thinks that the coronavirus could be the real test case for who’s prepared and who is not when it comes to the United States.
Sounds like a good man to know in an emergency!

No idea who the singer is but the government preps for the President, the military leadership and other political leaders but not the general public. They even have bunkers built into the sides of mountains with blast doors. So maybe the idea of putting away more than a couple of days worth of food, water and cash isn’t crazy.

Dunno but whoever it is, he’s smart and ready!

I will say Harry Connick Jr. He is from The Big Easy. He saw what happened to NO/LA residents.
Was a minor prepper (tornado alley) now serious AF in the past 2 weeks. The virus doesn’t scare me,but it DOES scare me to know that 80% of our medicines/ OTC stuff comes from China. Either outright or
raw materials. Soap, shampoo, allergy pills,RXs ? Stock will run out. Americans don’t do well with shortages. We want 24/7 stores w/tons of choices on shelves. Chinese supply chain is f’ed. Get…

No idea who this is…but sounds like someone I want to know!
Optional: I’d give us a 6 (I’m a couponer! lol). Honestly with the coronavirus spreading like it is, I think I’ll be adding a few more items to the pile (face masks, etc). I’d rather have it now and not need it..then need it and there is no supply left.
Baileygirl says
I am thinking this may be Blake Shelton.
I have a pantry which serves as a mini grocery store for when I cannot get out to get groceries. I stock food items, water, juices, personal hygeine products, first aid items. It is enough for about 2 months if used sparingly.
I don’t have prepper stuff like weapons, generators, etc.
My parents lived through the Great Depression and my mom used to have her “stock” ready for an emergency such as a hurriciane and I just picked up the habit from her.

Could this be James Hetfield? He’s pretty chill and laid back and moved away from the SF area of Calif. to Vail CO. Everyone says he’s friendly, but he’s sharp and a hunter etc. This could be him. He’s a big family man so I’d guess he has his family covered if times get tough.

This HAS to be a rapper. They’re always a little bit paranoid and strap up.

Was going to say he could be Mormon, but then I read about the drinking part! Mormon’s keep a stash of food ‘just in case’.

Seems like a couponer to me; I wish I had the space for that stockpile in my home. I think he is prepping in case all the money and success disappears.
ItsBouquet says
Wow, I wish I had the means for a bunker, all I have is a back pack. I’d say 3/10 prepared.
Backpack has: emergency water sachets, food rations, thermal blankets, weapon, tent, solar radio. I’m not a survivalist. I would probably survive 12 hours in the woods by myself! But emergency backpack is enough to get my family to a plan B incase of anything.
aaajrm68 says
No Idea who singer is, but the coronovirus is getting scary. I would say I am about a five, I have hand sanitizer, extra medicines, and some dry foods, but would probably be toast with a real emergency that lasted longer than a few weeks or if power went out.
meatfactory says
No idea on the singer.
Optional: I have skills, but no supplies. The thing with supplies is that it’s how you paint a target on your back. You don’t ride out a disaster by hunkering down in solitude, no fortress is impenetrable, and people will be desperate. You’ll have far more success if you can convince people to work together through a disaster. You don’t survive in solitude, but with sharing, cooperation, and your pooled skills, knowledge and strength.

2 – we live near a nuke base so we expect to be vaporized early. 🤯 For basic emergency planning like hurricanes, we don’t have a generator.

I don’t know who the singer is, but I ain’t mad at him.
I’m pretty damn prepared. I have a go-bag with everything I would need to survive, including enough food to last me two weeks if I’m alone. I live in Washington DC so I have a route already planned to get south and out of the area in the event of an attack. I even have some .999 silver coins to barter with if it came to that! LOL. My friends tease me but they also admit that they’re coming to me if stuff goes sideways!
anarchistlibrarian says
you’re so right! unless you have the $$ to put everything in place, the way we get through a disaster is to be all prepared and then pool our resources, our labour, and our skills and work *together*. human nature being what it is, though, there’s going to be violence as well as amazing examples of communities of people coming together, i think, if things do go pear-shaped. (i’m just glad very few people in my country own guns!)
Cloudy says
All good points, Librarian! I’m in a high rise so I know if it’s a shelter in place situation, I’ve got great neighbors to hunker down with. If it’s something where it’s total anarchy and I have to flee, I’ve got full camping gear, maps, fishing pole, and a really big knife. Hopefully I’d be able to get far away from anyone nefarious with a gun until things calm down!

About a 5. I could buy more canned food and batteries.
The thing about Preppers, it’s fine to be prepared for a few weeks, but something is going to happen and you are going to need a dentist, doctor, hospital, etc.
PollyMetropolitan says
People have lived without all of those things, and in some places they still do. They are conveniences, but we’d get by without them. I would hate to have to see if I could, though.
Cloudy says
Most of the time you only need to be able to survive temporarily, either until you get to a safe place or until things calm down where you are. It would be very hard to survive some kind of long term situation, but if it came to that those things would be figured out in some capacity.

This is Post Malone. There are reports that circled around a couple of months ago about the state of the art underground bunker he has being built at his home. Word is he really thought this through and has some impressive designs he wanted. It’s said to be large comfortable rooms with everything needed to survive whatever comes along.
