Shake It Up Marriage

[Blind Gossip] This celebrity married into a very close family that values their longtime traditions. It’s not going well.

When you join this family, the expectation is that you will blend in. She smiled at everyone and pretended that she wants to blend in, but the entire family (except for her husband) now recognize that the truth is quite the opposite. Since they have married, she has been in his ear trying to get him to buck family tradition. She seems to think it is her job to “shake it up.” Thus, the tension.

    A wildcard guess, but Miley Cyrus marrying into the Hemsworths? She mellowed for a bit there, but she’s reverting to her crazier, wilder self again. The pic of Taylor just reminded me of that mildly inappropriate manipulated gif Miley posted on social media recently that said “Which are you, top like Taylor or twerk like Miley?” that had everybody wondering if she was hacked. Anyway, the Hemsworth family seems pretty close and traditional.

    My advice to her would be to do everything by protocol, by the book, for the next two years. Nothing unexpected. Everything boring. Not trying to shake up a single hair of the royal’s head.

    In the long run, she’ll do more good in the world. But she has come in too fast, and bent the rules here and there quite often. Like Mrs. Obama told her, slow down.

    Meghan Markle. If true, she knew what she was getting into, and this marriage won’t last. It’s looking more and more like she’s using him as a stepping stone toward more fame. I was supportive of her initially but the way she did her father wasn’t too cool, not that he was perfect, but she didn’t even credit him with funding her education or opening doors for her professionally. Remember Harry said she had no family! Plus, she had a baby shower without any family there. Not good.

    Assuming this is Meghan, she is an intelligent woman and knew what she was marrying into. If she starts to disrespect that and hurts Harry, “the firm” and those who still remember that little boy walking behind his mother’s coffin will not be siding with her.

    There is a lot of chatter coming out about her which is suspicious.
    I think she will be disappointed if she wants Harry to quit his responsibilities, he’s very dedicated to his charities, the Invictus Games and if he is given more duties as he gets older he will do those as well. The Firm have had many independent women marry in, and they either conform, or leave. It’s a life of extraordinary privilege, but you do have to keep in line and do your duty.

    Meghan needs to sit her — down. What is she trying to prove? Eventually the queen will freeze her out like they did Diana. I have given her advice so many times on this site.

    – do not try to outshine anyone.

She is too self-involved to see the handwriting already on the wall. She wants to be bigger than Will and Kate and is causing Harry to be torn emotionally. The Crown will not stand for this and she will be unceremoniously bounced due to a “mutual agreement to end their marriage.” No one beats them. Just ask Diana.

    I never had high hopes for this marriage. Markle seems to enjoy the spotlight way too much, and is using it for her own agenda. I once read that Princess Diana never worried about William, because he was sensible, smart, and made good decisions for himself. On the other hand, Diana worried about Harry because he was always too easily manipulated by people around him, and always used poor judgement.

    She’s going to try to be another Wallace Simpson, but eventually, her husband will see through her act, and he will be devastated when he realizes how wrong he has been.

    I can’t see the marriage lasting. I said from the beginning that she was in love with becoming a Royal, and Harry was merely a way to get there. She’s a Royal pain and is getting more and more unlikable. Some say that Harry should give up his Royal status and the two of them should move to Hollywood or somewhere.     Oh that Sparkles! Harry is in a love haze big time and feels that fighting the fam is worth it at this point. I have seen this in regular families. It goes two ways. Wife gives up in trying to pull him away and takes the “if I can’t beat em, join em” tack or she succeeds in separating hubby from family. I think it would be hard to get him away, as queen could always say hey go your own way, pay your own way.

    Will marriage last? Don’t know, pretty sure it depends on Harry.

    This is Meghan and Harry. She can’t help herself. Playing the strong woman role, needing Harry to cling to HER and not his family. That’s manipulation.
    I feel for him because I have a brother who manipulates like that. It’s hard to resist and for every relationship he’s been in, there has been heartache and despair. It takes time for the SO to realize the truth and it’s not pretty when their castles in the air come crumbling down.

    I don’t expect Harry will fair well.
