Royal Wedding Snub

[Blind Gossip] Princess Eugenie got married today! Beautiful wedding. Chock full of celebrities.

Except this one. And she is quite annoyed that she was not included!

During Meghan’s wedding, she heard that Eugenie’s would be the next royal wedding, so she spent a good bit of time kissing up to her family, certain that would lead to an invite. It did not. She is annoyed about that, especially since she had met Fergie several times before and thought they were friends.

There were other celebrities in attendance with whom Eugenie and and her husband Jack Brooksbank are not especially close, so that must have made this celebrity snub hurt all the more!

    She looked gorgeous! That being said I will say Ms. Winfrey also.
    All these younger set getting married make me feel so old as I am more of a contemporary of Sarah, Diana and Andrew than this younger crowd. I even shared Diana’s birthday although a few years after her. I was in my senior year when she was married so seeing all these youngsters getting married makes me feel rather old!

    Celebrity: I’m thinking it’s one of these three- Oprah, Priyanka Chopra, or Amal Clooney. They all seem attention-hungry, and definitely the type to kiss up for an invite. I’m leaning the most towards Priyanka, since she was seen flying into London probably still hoping to be invited.

    [Optional] Did you like the bride’s dress? I loved it! It fit her perfectly, and she looked beyond happy. Much better than Markle’s dress, IMO, which didn’t even fit and looked like a tablecloth.

    No idea on the celebrity but……….. Eugenie looked beautiful and happy on her wedding day! I thought the dress was beautiful and elegant. Not over the top which is gaudy IMO.

    I didn’t read E! to see which celebrities were there, but the very *first* person who popped in my head was that pretentious, annoying, GOOPSTER. She thinks she’s so “upper-class”, and is such a social climber, this just screams the “vaginal egg” peddler, GOOPY. Can’t stand her!

    No idea on the snubbed celebrity but I loved her dress and her bouquet. Very classic and classy. The best of the royal wedding gowns.

    Oprah? Fergie has done a few chat shows with her when she needs to try and clean up her image.
    The dress was lovely – it really suited her. It was a shame Fergie had such obvious sweat patches under her arms when she was waving to the very few members of public who could be bothered to go and watch, and her hat was very odd.

      Did some research this is Victoria Bekham. Fergie and her likely had a falling out over Harper’s invite to Princess tea and a scandal about who paid.

    Would’ve guessed Amal “look at me” Clooney but George and Jack are actually friends as the groom is a brand ambassador for Casamigos. Was king of curious that they weren’t there as George and Amal actually know them, as opposed to Harry and * who they had no connection to but attended their wedding.

    No idea I don’t follow British celebrities. The ones in the news are all so trashy you most certainly would not want them at a royal wedding.

    Celebrity: Amal Clooney? She and George attended Harry’s wedding and Eugenie’s husband works as a brand ambassador for Casamigos tequila (of which George Clooney is a co-owner) so it seemed odd that she wasn’t there.

    Amal Clooney was absent and I bet since the groom works for the tequila company, that seemed like a snub…

    I heard there were 850 ppl there? So how did Amal miss an invite?

    I think the dress is fine. Simple, tasteful, boring. It could have been way worse…

    No idea who was snubbed, but if your ‘in’ was Sarah Ferguson you already didn’t kiss up to the right person. The Royal Family loathes her. Except for Andrew and Harry.

    Thought the bride’s dress was very pretty.

    I wondered why she was at a meeting instead of the wedding & thought that perhaps she was snubbed. I’ll give an educated *guess* as to why she was snubbed: because her screeching BRIGHT YELLOW dress at Meghan,’s wedding nearly upstaged the bride’s gown. That’s a no-no.

    Optional: I only saw the back of it & a quick glimpse at the front, but yes, I did like it. Loved the scooped back & the showing of the scar. Much more so than Meghan’s ill-fitting dress.

      A lot of people don’t realize/talk about it – but Oprah has a huge ego.

      Personally, I think the only reason she was invited to Meghan and Harry’s wedding was because of all the drama with her father/family. Inviting prominent Americans was meant to serve as a morale booster/ to make Meghan seem like she had people in her corner.

      In terms of Fergie, Oprah once gave her some work (she had a reality show on OWN) and back then she needed the money. However, I doubt Fergie sees her as her…
