Presidential Tease

[Blind Gossip] This famous entertainer has been teasing the possibility of running for president. Someone close to them explains whether or not they think that will actually happen.

No. No no no no! Three reasons. First, she just added [project] and [project]. If she was going to do politics, she would start focusing on politics. Second, she doesn’t want the scrutiny into her private life. Everybody thinks they know everything about her, but they really don’t. I’m not going to elaborate. Third, she wants an Oscar, and she is not stopping until she gets one.

So, will she keep teasing the political ambition?

Yes! You think she’s modest, but she is not. She loves all the attention and ego pumping and the headlines. She’ll probably keep  this going for another two years.

    The Ophra, who appears to me as a narcissist and hypocrite, is so bought into her own hero worship. I will always admire and respect her accompaniments of taking herself from extreme poverty to a globally recognized and admired entrepreneur. Amazing.

    I just don’t like the “den mother of Hollywood” persona she’s been pushing for years. And I believe that she’s losing status, based on her treatment at the Emmys. Colbert razzed her about her not getting an acting nod. Unheard of before

    She can’t even oversee a school successfully, so I don’t think she would be great as a president :/

    I want to say Oprah but she has an Oscar, albeit the ceremonial Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. Still an Oscar though.

    I’m so fed up with politics I don’t know if I want to vote for anyone. But Gail would be a good First Lady.

    1. I think ‘No. No, no, no, no!’ is a clue since it’s a Destiny’s Child song.

    2. I know she wants an Oscar but she’s not a good actress. If she ever gets an Oscar then the Academy will lose its legitimacy.

    3. She spends time with the Obamas.

    4. She is very private and love to control the perception people have of her.

    5. She has a foundation (Beygood if I’m not mistaken) and plant stories in the press about her good deeds.

    Oprah Winfrey, I guess as far as obscenely rich people go, she has been poor, if she still remembers. So she can relate a little bit. Her personal life would be scrutinized and things would come out that may hurt other people besides her. I would vote for her if I agreed with what she wanted to do while president. I wouldn’t vote for just because she’s Oprah.

    wouldn’t vote for her. I don’t know why people think she’s super modest? Her own words years ago said she had been a celebrity of some form since she was 19 and was used to having fans and admiration.

    For God’s sake, no! It’s just terrible that every successful show-biz personality thinks he or she can be a president and run a great country. They should stick to their business. One will never allow a cleaning lady perform a neurosurgery.
