[Blind Gossip] This actress is nominated for an Academy Award this year. All of her plans for Sunday’s Oscars are set… except for her man.

They are not getting along. He will be there at the Oscars because it’s a big industry event, but he wants it to be over already. He is uncomfortable with all the fawning over her and him standing on the sidelines like a fool while she gets all the attention. He knows he has to play like he is happy for her, but he’s actually not that happy about it.

It’s difficult to tell whether their marriage is in trouble… or if he is jealous… or if he is simply uncomfortable with all the attention. We hope he can pull it together by Sunday and express pride in her accomplishment!

    I would guess jealousy because she matched his screenplay nomination and then got a best director nomination, too, but that’s unfair because I know nothing about him (apart from thinking his movies are terrific)

    This may be Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley. It’s difficult to say why he is unhappy, he is in the industry and understands the importance of this event…. jealousy, maybe?

    Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley. Maybe a little jealous bc he was a producer on I, Tonya but people only really notice the stars. But maybe he’s just not liking the attention bc he is a behind the scenes guy.

    That makes no sense though, since he’s always been a behind-the-camera guy, so why would he be craving the spotlight? Sounds more like professional jealousy… This has killed more Hollywood marriage than one.

    Margot Robbie? They haven’t been married very long…

    Married to Tom Ackerly, he works behind scenes as an AD, so he is probably more likely to prefer skirting fame – they are so quiet about relationship, guessing all the hoot about I Tonya might be tedious.

    Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerly, actors/actresses, celebrities are all a narcissistic group, so jealous for sure, also I think their marriage is on shaky ground anyway.

    Frances McDormand is the only lady nominee I know who’s married to someone who’s also in the industry (Joel Coen), so I’ll say her. She’s also the favorite to win, so she’d be getting fawned over more than usual. I can see him being uncomfortable with it.

    After she made her speech at the Golden Globes last year about President Trump..She is now hated and lost so many fans…Who cares, what you think..Just shut up and act…Can you imagine being married to that…..Poor Don….

    They’re both pretty quirky (difficult maybe) but I would think that as acclaimed directors/writers as the Coen Bros are, he’d be ok with Francis getting her well-deserved attention. I hope it’s not these too, but I don’t know who else would fit the blind. Francis also doesn’t seem like she puts too much worry on these sorts of shindigs. But what do I know?

      No way. Ethan Coen cast her left and right himself, including her big break. He would be happy for her. This has to be someone like Robbie’s husband since we’ve seen other blinds about their marriage.
