Holiday Or Unique Proposal

[Blind Gossip] This is rather sweet!

This celebrity couple – both performers, but specializing in two different genres – have been dating for more than a year.

He is ready to propose!

They are a rather private couple, but he does talk to friends about what’s going on.

We do not have any information about the ring yet… but we do have some information to share about the timing!

She is quite sentimental, so he knows he has to make the proposal romantic and memorable. One key issue is the timing. He has been informally polling friends about which date would be best.

Long story short, he is debating whether or not to tie the proposal to a date that they already celebrate, like a major holiday.

There are a lot of options in the next few months: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, or her birthday.

The other option is to pick a date that is not particularly memorable or busy so that the date becomes unique to them.

So, which way is he going to go?

Every friend has a different opinion and there is absolutely no consensus, so he is more confused than ever! He has a good sense of humor about it, though.

We’re looking forward to this love story having a happy ending!

    I think this is definitely Taylor and Joe.

    Here’s why: the clues about the proposal dates (New Year’s Day – a song from the Reputation album, Valentine’s Day – the movie she was in a long time ago, and her birthday – it’s coming up in December).

    Also, the ring comment could be a nod to “paper rings,” a new song off of the Lover album.

    Lastly, love story is another song of her’s from years ago.

    Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn. I speak from personal experience, do NOT do it on a special day. My wedding was day before my bday (he wanted that), I am now a widow with a sucky birthday. Divorces happen as well. Dont ruin those special days, pick a different date.

    pick a normal day – that way if she leaves you she has to give the rung back, the law won’t presume it was a gift! (or maybe I am just a cynical lawyer …)

    The only reason I don’t think it’s Taylor is because the dates are listed in chronological order putting her birthday after the new year. I hope Joe has someone telling him what a mistake it would be.

    I understand ppl thinking this is Taylor Swift/Joe Alwyn, but for some reason I don’t! Supposedly, they’ve been together ~3 years, so mentioning that they’ve been together for more than a year doesn’t necessarily fit AND the order of holidays/occasions listed is chronological. Taylor’s birthday is December 13th, which should be listed first, right? Orrrr maybe I’m thinking way too hard about it.

    Not that he’ll read here, but she is excellent at Easter Eggs in her videos, songs, etc. He MUST do something that means something to them – anniversary of their first date, or first “something”

      I dearly hope this is it. Sooo many folks are anti Taylor and go so far into negativity. She was used and abused by “the machine” of the industry. Her parents were part of it. She’s come a long way, and is stronger for it. People seem to resent that. So, if this is her then awesomeness.
