Hero Distraction

[Blind Gossip] This celebrity is definitely not happy about those stories about her engagement!

Her team has been instructed to put out some feel-good stories about her. She doesn’t want victim stories. Those don’t fit her brand. They will be hero stories and humanitarian stories that make her look good and distract from that other narrative.

    Allegedly, she broke up with him, so legally should have given him the ring. However, she actually bought the ring so wants to keep it. He wants the ring back. She didn’t like the “optics” of the ring debacle so all the publicity about her is now more “positive”.

    I kinda just don’t have an opinion on her. I don’t hate her for no reason as a lot of people do but I also kinda just don’t care either? I wish her well if nothing else.

    She was in Australia this weekend (promoting another watered down sugar fragrance) and you would think she was the salt of the earth the way she hugged and kissed everyone, visited sick children and took endless photos.

    I thought of her always as a privileged clothes horse.

    Optional: To be taken seriously she could start with no longer publishing dodgy pictures of herself licking ice cream etc. She is neither a hero nor a humanitarian, but a slightly messed up, spoilt younger heiress with no real purpose in life.

    The only thing I’ve ever thought about her was that for all of her money, looks, and fame, she doesn’t seem to be very happy.

    I’d rather be me – fat, old, not very rich, but very happy with a full life with two great children and their spouses, a new grandchild, a job I enjoy, friends who are as close as family, and a rescue dog from Puerto Rico who loves me unconditionally.
