He Liked The Power

[Blind Gossip] It turns out that this actor was lying when he talked about running

for public office.

He likes the attention and people begging him, “Oh please, please run!” but he was lying about actually doing it. He says the same thing every few years, but he’s never going to do it again.

He says he’s already been there done that. He didn’t enjoy it much. He liked the power but not the work. It was all about ego for him. Now he’d rather make money doing films.

Every few years since then he says he’s going to run for something, but it’s just talk.  He did it this time for the attention and because he wanted to poke back at [His Nemesis]. He hates that guy more than anything.

    Is this Arnold ? The nemesis is Trump and Trump is a new one. I think Arnold may have a mental problem himself because I don’t see how he can still be in demand for films. As a Democrat I would like to see Bully Boy Alec Baldwin run. They need him but George Clooney is the more electable !

    As for other actors/actresses, there are NONE I’d like to see run for public office. They mostly seem in love with themselves.

    I can’t think of any actors I would want to see in office. I might like to see Ted Nugent in Congress just for the entertainment. The establishment of both sides would be absolutely apoplectic! Throw in Jon Voight and James Wood, too, and I will bring the popcorn!

    One is not an actor, but used to really want John Stewart and Steven Colbert to run together! Both incredibly intelligent and loved the fact that they “educated” and made one laugh at the same time (sometimes at oneself)!
    Politics are extremely hilarious if they weren’t so possibly lethal.

      No, Arnold won the titles Mr. Universe, Mr. World, and Mr. Olympia back in the sixties and seventies. He won the Mr. Olympia title seven times.
