Crushable – We hear that a certain polarizing player in politics doesn’t quite understand the word “borrow.” A well-placed source tells Crushable that this person was on a plane headed for their home state when they spotted an expensive Italian handbag belonging to the daughter of someone in said state’s political circle. They complimented the bag, asked to borrow it for a high-profile event and never returned it. The daughter was too polite to ask for it back.

We know there are a lot more solved blind gossip items on our site than we currently list, and we’d like your help in identifying them. So we are declaring this summer… The Summer of Solved!

You will see a list of our Archives on the <<< LEFT side of this page. We need your help in going through one month at a time – first focusing on September 2008 – and seeing how many we can mark SOLVED! Some guidelines:

1. One link per reply is fine as long as you fully explain the link and how it solves the item. Even better would be to paste an abridged version of the pertinent copy in your reply along with the link. If you are going to send a reader off of our site, there should be a REALLY good reason! Examples:

Actor is a Serious Manscaper

BlindGossip – It isn’t unusual for male stars to occasionally have their backs and chests waxed in preparation for a scene in which they will be shirtless. This one star carried it even further. He insisted that the beauty technician also wax his butt and do some serious manscaping on his nether regions, neither which was going to be included in the film. He picked up the habit from a well-groomed ex who was disgusted by his naturally hirsute body, and who would block any intimate physical contact with him until his body was completely hair-free. No It’s Not:  Alec Baldwin or any of his brothers.

Less Weight and More Energy

BlindGossip – This television star claims that she lost those annoying pounds so quickly because she was so completely committed to being healthy. Really? Committed to an addictive substance is more like it. Sure, she exercised and ate healthier. She also ingested enough white powder to cause rapid weight loss, a sudden burst of energy, and a future commitment to a rehab facility.
