Black Friday Disguise

[Blind Gossip] This esteemed film actress really wants to go and mix it up with the people during the Black Friday sales!

She was talking about how thrilling it would be to scrum with the crowds and fight over a flat screen TV or a toaster oven.

This isn’t about getting something at a great sale price.

She thinks it would be a great life experience and she wants to film the whole thing. Then she called someone and asked if they had a wig and baseball cap she could use to disguise herself. She sounded very excited. She may actually go through with it.

If any of you find yourself wrestling an Academy Award-winner to the ground over a toaster oven on Friday, please let us know.

    I don’t know why this screams Mariah Carey to me. What I’m getting from this is the person has never been in a position where they needed to shop for bargains, especially on ‘Black Friday’.

    I won’t set foot in a store until Monday when folks have gone back to work and kids are back in school. 🙂

    Clue #1: “wrestling” (MT was the female lead in “The Wrestler”, opposite Mickey Rourke)

    Clue #2: “She MAY actually go through with it” (Marisa is currently playing Spider-Man’s aunt, MAY Parker, in multiple Disney/Marvel films.)

    No idea on the actress. I never go to Black Friday sales. All of my shopping is done except for a few last minute candy and cookie gifts. I find stores that open on Thanksgiving to be vulgar and against the spirit of the holiday. Any store not open on Thanksgiving Day gets any extra cash I have for last minute things.

    Nah she could’ve done that at Pacific Fair (popular huge shopping centre at Gold Coast where Margot grew up) on Boxing Day* if she wanted to. (*the day after xmas when the shops have massive sales)

    I’ve never once joined the throngs on Black Friday. Nothing puts me in a worse mood than fighting for parking!

    Scrum is British slang so Helen Mirren? Judi Dench? I’d have guessed Meryl for more everywoman GOOD pr and press (she has been banking lately) and for the AA but clearly American.

    I don’t do Black Friday, never did. I just don’t see the point of getting up at the crack and dawn, to fight crowds over some stupid “bargains” which we all know, isn’t really a bargain at all! No thank you, I’d rather stay home, relax, and eat leftover Thanksgiving food.

    I stay far, far away from Black Friday sales. There’s nothing that I want to save money so badly on that I’d join the huge crowds of people.
