[Blind Gossip] There is a movie coming out this fall. It features two huge stars who are working together for the first time. The movie is currently in post-production… and people are panicking!
The trailer looks great but the film is a mess. The story doesn’t hang together, it doesn’t look right, it doesn’t sound right, the chemistry is off between [the two stars]. It might be salvageable, but lots more editing needed. Maybe some reshoots if they get panicky enough.
If the romance between the male and female lead isn’t believable, that’s a bad sign. However, the most curious part of this is the problem with the story. Hasn’t this story been done before?

Blind Gossip was the first to tell you way back in May of 2016 that Lady Gaga was Cooper’s choice for the lead role of the most recent remake of A Star is Born.
We were right, and she was cast.
However, by May of 2018, things were not looking good for the film!
Well, we have some good news: They have fixed all the problems! They did a lot of work in post, and we hear that all the outstanding issues have been resolved. It looks good, it sounds good, and it looks like there is chemistry between the two leads.
Given that Bradley Cooper is starring AND producing AND directing the flick – and that it’s Lady Gaga’s first big role – we’ll bet everyone involved is very relieved.
Oscar nominations… here we come!
By the way, one of the coolest things about the film (and one of the most difficult to get right) is that Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga sing LIVE. Cooper, who is not a singer, had to get a lot of vocal training to do this well.
This is the FOURTH remake of A Star is Born since 1932!

Lady Gaga got too big for briches, I still cant figure out why she won a emmy for “American Horror Story” I thought her performance was too wooden.
She should have never agreed to a classic as her big movie debut. 1. living up to the classic, which Judy Garland is remember for next to OZ. 2. she clearly choose to do this pic as oscar bait. 3. Making her a lead in movie huge mistake, she is not ready for it. She gonna fail hard.

Hmmm… The “curious” reference makes me think it’s Robin Hood (which uses the word “curious” twice in the trailers), and of course Robin Hood has been done, many times.
But Taron Egerton and Eve Hewson are NOT huge stars, and I don’t know what the “sign” reference might be.
There’s a lot that seems off about the trailer upon a second viewing, though.
