An Engagement Ring For Christmas

[Blind Gossip] While the media may be talking about the inevitability of a holiday engagement, there is another side to this story!

He was surprised to see that story online! He really likes her but he hasn’t bought a ring or started preparing any sort of proposal. He is actually quite cautious about a permanent arrangement. He does not know where the stories are coming from.

So… we’re thinking that means “No” on an engagement announcement in the next few weeks.

Yes, both people in this couple are famous in their respective fields.

    It’s Taylor Swift and her Gorgeous Joe. Why? Because news about possible engagement broke on her birthday, and it was said that he may propose till Christmas. But I don’t think he wants to. He got all of the fame and press coverage after their relationships went kinda public, but he thinks that he is serious actor (look at projects he chooses), so he doesn’t want to be always remembered as TS fiance/huzza, I guess it’s enough for him to be her boyfriend.

    Not sure about the couple … but why get engaged & tie the knot for the pleasure of everyone else involved? Besides any money earned in the process? Of course, that’s as insane as insisting Jen Aniston had to pop out babies to give the public hope.

    Taylor and Joe Alwyn. My guess is she’s pushing her camp to plant the stories to put the idea out there so she can see if he’s receptive to it or to show him that she’s keen on the idea.

    Bonus: Why not? The two seem to have a good thing going and life is short, so they should get married if/when they’re ready. Girl better have a prenup though. IDC how much money Mr. Alwyn makes on his own; she needs to protect her assets just in case.

    I figured some publication just made up the engagement rumors cause taylor always brings lots of web traffic. Then all the other low level publications and blogs piggy backed off that.

    Why is he so cautious of a permanent arrangement? She’s the one with all the money and i’m sure she’d be happy to have a private wedding and family life.

    Optional: if Chris is actually quite cautious about a permanent arrangement, then why the matching couple infinity tattoo with Dakota they have inked on their arms?
    If Dakota and Chris are ready for it then yeah why not get engaged? Dakota just spent thanksgiving with Chris, the kids and Gwyneth. So all signs points to it being very serious.

    Nah, I don’t think this will happen.

    A lot of people think that HER team put that story out to: 1) let him know that she wants to get engaged, and/or 2) Get people talking about him (and her) as publicity for his movie.
