Everyone – from execs to managers, stars and agents – is circulating the story that a big label boss is about to find himself on the wrong end of a serious severance agreement.

    Simon Cowell ? I thought Gene Simmons said the record labels are about to roll over and die because of the Net and the and the fans who are able to get music for free form the Internet. Even Stevie Nicks put a spin on Video killed the Radio Star to Internet killed the every Star. ! How is this an item ! I had even heard a lot of the former Big Shot Labels don’t even have any money .

      It’s an item because, “a big label boss is about to find himself on the wrong end of a serious severance agreement.” So it’s not an issue of the internet killing off a particular label/employee, but an issue of moral turpitude or, in other words, a “somebody done somebody wrong” “song.” Time’s Up refers to a $exual harassment/abuse issue, so this blind implies that the big wig in trouble is about to face being fired & losing his severance $$ over such an issue. DEFINITELY an item!
