Two Great Music Artists With Serious Problems

[MTO News] One of the greatest hip hop artists ever has a serious addiction to opioids. And it is so serious that one of his friends reached out to MTO News, and told us that they believe he will be dead in weeks.

Opiod addiction is a huge problem in America, and it’s creeping more and more into the Black community – especially in hip hop.

And one of the culture’s greatest rappers is hopelessly addicted to lean – again.

His friend told MTO News:

[Rapper] is a complete junkie. He drinks lean all day like it’s water. Seriously, I don’t think he even gets high anymore, he just drinks it to stop himself from withdrawing.

He wasn’t this bad for years, but he released his new album, and has been doing a bunch of shows and he’s back on the syrup.

I know he’s been on it for a while, but his is different. He’s drinking way too much. He’s going to die and he is such a beautiful person.

Please put this out, so that [someone] can help him.

    This is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT Drake and Lil Wayne

    Wayne’s lean addiction has been public knowledge for a long time

    and DRAKE was in Sprite commercials, so that picture is no accident!

    I’ll take a shot at the first one and guess Dr. Dre. The blind makes it a point to distinguish between “hip-hop artist” and “rapper” (as if they’re not the same thing). Since The Chronic, Dre has become more known for his producing than his rapping, so I wouldn’t necessarily refer to him as a rapper.

    No snark intended here, as I don’t listen to either rap or hip hop, but is Lil Wayne considered one of our cultures’ “greatest” rappers?

    Whoever it is, this is sad. Addiction is a terrible thing.

    I am not sure about the Hip hop artist but seeing the title of the related blind item makes me think of T Pain.

    I think the hip hop artist is either Drake or The Weeknd. It’s hard to classify anyone to one specific genre anymore though, especially with the new wave of rappers that also sing on their tracks.

    The rapper who’s addicted to lean is Lil Wayne.

      Lil Xan is barely known. I doubt he would be considered ‘Great’ by anyone in the industry other than himself.

      I don’t listen to hip hop or rap, so other than those frequently mentioned in blinds, I have no idea who is popular.

      Lil Wayne was obvious from previous blinds.
      Looking for the answer to the opiod one, I did find something about one of Lil Xan’s friends having said a few days ago that he expected him to be dead very shortly, and the next day or so LiL Xan announced he was going to rehab.

    Li’l Wayne again? It’s really sad that he (or anyone) is in such extreme emotional pain that the only way he can handle it is with a substance that makes him stupified & is highly dangerous. C’mon, man, your life is worth more than that! You can go away to someplace nice to go thru withdrawal w/ caring professionals who probably give you something to blunt the withdrawal symptoms. Then you can get a caring therapist who LISTENS to you while helping you to move beyond the pain.

    Unfortunately this is Lil Wayne. Please don’t die and take care lil Wayne. I grew up listening to his music even though I shouldn’t have lol. This makes me sad 🙁

    I’m so bad at this, so I have no idea who the hip hop artist that’s addicted to opioids is, but I have heard about Lil Wayne and his addiction to lean, so that’s my guess for the rapper.

    Rapper is definitely Lil’ Wayne. Since “the greatest…ever” is how Kanye has referred to himself, guessing him for the other artist. (Could also somewhat explain his recent erratic shenanigans)

    I’m going to guess Lil Wayne because this sounds like him, but he is not one of the greatest hip hop artists!
