Pain Actress May Get Downgraded Or Booted

[Blind Gossip] While this action movie was filming, we told you all about the problems they were having with the female lead. For many reasons, she was simply a pain to deal with.

The movie was released. The response to it was tepid. So… what will they do with the sequel they were planning?

Sequel is moving forward. However, after terrible box office in the US it is being developed as a streaming film with a low budget. [Actor] may return for international appeal but [Actress] may be replaced.

We don’t know if the lead actress will be replaced, but that is quite a downgrade from the big screen to a streaming service. Our actress – who considers herself a big movie star – is NOT going to be happy with either the downgrade or the boot.

Nothing to do with Harrison Ford, who is the consummate action star!

    Replacing would likely be a good idea, she just doesn’t really have the charisma to lead an action film in my opinion. Not sure who else.

    Alicia, Tomb Raider I think the franchise could be a web series or a series on a streaming service. Video game adaptations are risky & the studio shouldn’t have spent a lot of money on it. I saw her videos training, but rumor has it she has an ego & wasn’t up to the physical task, so yea, if true, replace her for sure.

      This sure sounds like it’s about JLaw. X-Men: The Apocalypse didn’t do too well in the US but its next film is already in post-production.
      Maybe Dead Sparrow was supposed to be the first in a series?

      Optional: Dump her and replace her with her biggest rival, and pay the rival more.

    It seems like this is what the blond is about, but I hope it’s not. I didn’t hate the movie even though her energy was odd for Lara Croft, and I do like her. (Swede solidarity)
    I’d like to see a relatively unknown actress play the role

    She is a mess. I never understood her appeal. She is not a good actress.

    Depends on how young they want to go. Naomi Scott would be a good, young Lara. Hailey Atwell, Gemma Arterton, or Natalie Dormer would all be good for a more seasoned Lara.
