[Blind Gossip] This boy band member really should stop drinking.

We just received a video clip of him partying with a few people… and he is laughing and shouting out The N Word. Not once. Multiple times.

For someone with millions of followers/fans on social media, you would think that he would be a little more media savvy and know that even private moments with friends can be captured and recorded and come back to bite him!

Why don’t we just come right out and show you the video? Well, we’re trying to track down the copyright owner right now.

    Harry and Louis are ardent supporters of black lives matter movement, and Harry’s literally got Treat People With kindness engraved on his most important ring.
    But Louis is the party animal and most likely to cuss….
    But I don’t wanna believe he’s racist. I feel he was just drunk

      Anyone who follows Harry knows he exudes positivity, acceptance and love. He’s very vocal about it and the catchphrase of his tour (& splashed sll over his merchandise).

    If it’s 1D, it could be any of them and they all annoy me. Harry Styles is painfully overrated, so I’d find it especially funny if it was him. I don’t think this is a 1D blind, however.

    That’s how kids talk these days, thanks to black rappers.
    Is it even racist in all contexts?
    Can’t expect kids to hear it all the time on the radio and not say it themselves, especially if they’ve had a few drinks.

    Haven’t seen the video and without knowing in what way it was said I can’t comment on whether he is racist.

    I don’t get it. Famous POC use the word in music and everyday life, make it a popular, non derogatory, cool reference, but then other people get crapped on for using it in the same context? It should be about the intent and context behind how it’s used, not the word itself.

    I don’t know the boy bands that are popular at the moment but strongly doubt it’s Harry Styles or Niall Horan (of 1D). *Maybe* Liam or Louis while intoxicated…but under NO circumstance would it be Harry. Any of his followers knows how considerate and respectful he is. Everyone who meets him describes what a kind loving person he is. Also, outside of USA ‘the N word’ doesn’t offend so profoundly.     I’m from a town in PA. There wasnt diversity except on TV. When rap went mainstream in hs, DMX, Ja Rule, etc..everyone was dropping the N word in their music. We thought it was the cool/badass thing to do. we were trying to emulate. We weren’t racist, we just didn’t understand. In college realized quick what was PC.

    I’m going with KPOP. don’t think they’ve been exposed to much outside their peninsula.

    No1 should use it, same with slang used against white ppl. It’s time to heal and LOVE…

    I was also leaning towards Louis because he has been caught before – which is why I think maybe it isn’t him. And aren’t the 1D guys “Former Boy Banders?” I think it’s a member of a group that is still together. I’m guessing Zach or Daniel from Why Don’t We?. The picture depicts a younger person.

      Louis is open about his marijuana use, as is his ex-bandmate Zayn. I don’t think he’s a drunk type. It was always Liam who was the heavy alcohol user in One Direction – he’s been open about that, too.

    I don’t like the n-word myself and don’t use it, ever.

    But I think this dumb rule that “if you have African blood you’re allowed to use it, but everyone else is prohibited” needs to go away, however. It’s an offensive word for *everybody*, just like other racial slurs.

    In fact, you hardly ever hear other racial slurs on the radio, because artists don’t use them in…

    Why do people say the n word. It’s not a pleasant word. I don’t get why rappers and singers say it in their songs. I know we say things we don’t mean when we are drunk but he should know better.

      I get the anger behind the word, it’s upsetting. The gen that created it in a derogatory fashion is dying out. Younger gens, with the exception of a small % of bigots, don’t care about race. And eventually the bigots will fade away. But I’m also tired of paying for the sins of my fathers,fathers,fathers,etc… My dad’s not racist, I’m not racist, my children aren’t racist.

      Time to love everybody, and let the anger and word fade off into oblivion. Keeping it relevant in ANY form keeps it…
