Daughter Is Giving Food A Hard Pass

[Blind Gossip] This young celebrity is giving food a hard pass.

While the media may describe her as “genetically blessed” with a thin frame and good looks, the truth is much sadder. While she does have very attractive celebrity parents, she is definitely not eating enough.

It’s been drilled into her head since she was little that in order to be successful, she has to be thin. She counts every calorie. Monday through Friday the limit is 1000 calories a day, Saturday and Sunday it’s 1200. She keeps track of it on her phone. She is very disciplined about it. She will sometimes eat just for the camera, but then she immediately gets rid of it once the picture is taken.

We don’t know if “gets rid of it” means that she disposes of the food after a bite or two or if she is purging. Either one is sad and may indicate an eating disorder.

It’s unclear if her parents are even aware of her food and diet issues. If they are, we don’t know if they are encouraging it or are worried about it. Trying to make her into a successful model certainly does seem to be an awfully big priority for them!

    There’s no “maybe” about it. A 16 year old girl restricting her intake to 1000 cal per day, with an underweight BMI definitely indicates anorexia nervosa. With this level of undernourishment, her periods will stop, she will likely develop osteoporosis and her brain development will be stunted which will affect both her emotional and cognitive abilities for many years to come. It’s not just about her weight, her whole life is at stake here. Her parents are pathetic. – an eating disorder RN

    kaia Gerber, who will never look as beautiful as her mom anyway. She’s got no figure to speak of, even if she gained 20 lbs. She’s just straight up and down, no waist, no hips. Her brother is the beauty in that fam.

    Her appearance is frightening. No one should be putting her in front of a camera. Her look is not even on trend- her skeletal look is very 1990s/early 2000s. Editors should be refusing to use her and her parents need their heads checked to be encouraging this.

    I am split between this being Saylor Brinkley Cook, Kaia Gerber or one of the Hadid kids. Saylor looks to be a healthy weight, so I will discount her although it sounds exactly like something Christie would do. Kaia looks okay too in the weight department. Bella Hadid looks like she has an eating disorder, to me. Pretty sure her model mama, Yolanda Foster, instilled the calorie counting stuff in her daughters early on. And man, have you ever noticed how sad both Hadid girls’ eyes are?

      She is the first person I thought of. If you have ever watched “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, you would see how focused Yolanda was about her eating. When Gigi graduated from high school they had a scene where she and Gigi cut a TEENY sliver of her graduation cake and Yolanda asked her to split it! So sick. The thing that made me know that Gigi is not the one in this blind was the clue that both parents were very attractive. Yolanda is beautiful, Mohammad …. not so much.

    Kaia Gerber has looked extremely unhealthy for a while now. I’ve seen plenty of pictures with her holding ice cream, etc, but I don’t buy it that she’s eating it. Cindy might have said she wanted her to wait until she’s older to model…but that’s a total lie. She’s living through her daughter. They better get this under control or she’ll be screwed up for life.

    She does NOT look healthy at all! I remember when she was first noticed she looked very healthy, skinny but like she was eating and being a regular teen. Fast forward months later, she’s a stick! She looks tired and honestly sick. saw pictures of her getting her makeup done at Paris fashion week and she looked like she was 2 seconds away from passing out

      The pics from Paris fashion week were so sad. Kaia used to be thin but appeared athletic and had actual baby fat on her face like all 16 year old girls have. Round plump cheeks are universally attractive. There’s a million dollar market so those who’ve lost their youthful cheeks can regain their lost fullness. Why would anyone would want their 16 year old daughter to put herself at risk for a life long struggle with her health?

    I don’t know if she looks healthy, but it’s very unhealthy for a 16 year old’s parents to be raving about how “proud” they are because she walked a runway, seeing to it she gets “advice” from the likes of Kendall Jenner on how to balance your social life with your modeling career etc. She looks ridiculous most of the time and she should be in school. Her flaky idiot parents should be seeing to it she is in school.
