His Nasty Edge

[Blind Gossip] This acting couple is certainly humorous with each other on social media, but their marriage is hitting a rough patch.

Since he makes all these comedies, you would think he’s a really nice, funny person, but he’s not. He’s got a nasty, sarcastic, dominating edge to him. [First Wife] worked a lot and was really hot and successful, but instead of being happy about that, he was jealous and told that he thought she should be staying home more and starting a family. She slowed down her career to try to please him, but then she was unhappy, so they couldn’t make it work.

 

 

[Second Wife] is more down with slowing her career and doing the housewife thing and letting him be the big star of the family, but he’s a little mean to her too. He comes from a family of all boys and it’s certainly not her fault that she keeps popping out girls, but the pressure is really on her now to produce a boy (preferably two). She is more committed to keeping the marriage and family together than he is, but she is sacrificing her best earning years to please him – and he’s not even all that grateful about it. I don’t like the way he talks to her. Very condescending.

    Can be none other than Ryan Reynolds with Scarlett Johannsson being the ex and Blake Lively the current wife. Tbh, I think they deserve each other. Something about Blake has always rubbed me the wrong way. I think her nice, wholesome girl next door persona is fake.

    Regardless of their children gender, he should be proud of them and happy they are healthy.

    If it is Ryan Reynolds I wouldn’t be surprised. I read a few nauseating, doting quotes fawning over his wife. That’s great & all but it seemed a little forced and out of character. I know it’s cliche to say but that’s always a red flag. Celebrity couples that work overtime to do that are usually having trouble in paradise. Look at Pratt & Faris and countless others. That’s why I think Dax & Kristen are not going to make it. They’re ridiculous.

    Ryan Reynolds has always thought he is funnier than he really is. I have long been put off by his sarcastic comments that is a disguise for hostility. I have noticed that Blake has started firing back at him and believe this could signal the end of their relationship if it continues between them.

    I think that “funny on screen” camouflages a multitude of things. With Robin Williams, whom I adored, it covered a deep, inescapable depression. I think it can also cover insecurity, which it sounds like may apply in this situation.

      The sex of a child is solely determined by the X or Y chromosome from the father’s sperm, so it’s not up to the woman to “produce a son.” Daddy needs to go back to Biology 101, and maybe a fertility specialist.

      Its a bit more complex then that. The sperm has to break through a barrier to get to the sperm. Male sperms are faster but female sperm are stronger (might be the other way around cant remember) so the sex largely depends on how thick a women’s barrier is

      Think of it like a boy and a girl racing to crack an egg. The boy might get their first but if he’s not strong enough to crack it, the girl can beat him anyway.

      But anyway its total BS to get upset about the gender of your kids. They were obviously the strongest among all the other sperms. They won life’s first big competition!

      It depends on her personal priorities. You can love your career and your marriage and still CHOOSE to prioritize one over the other. Neither is wrong, it just depends what is right for you individually and as a couple. She shouldn’t do it because he wants her to. It is a marriage, it takes work and sacrifice by all parties. Sounds like she needs to speak to him if SHE feels he is being condescending towards her. Marriage takes good Communication and empathy for each other, Aka, WORK.

      He’s not conventionally attractive, so I can see why you would ask. I can only speak for myself, but I find him kind of rugged, and there’s just something about him that is appealing even though I can’t quite place my finger on it. He exudes a bit of that bad boy edge.
