Luxury Car Crying

[Blind Gossip] This very famous former athlete is married and very wealthy. Set for life.

At least we thought he was very wealthy.

Maybe not so much.

You see, his wife came home to a very unpleasant surprise recently.

They had a lot of cars, like maybe a dozen or more. Three of them were just for her. She came home and there was only one of hers left. He had sold off the others.  He told her that they don’t have the money and they need to cut way back or else they are going to lose the house too. She was crying and crying. She can’t even complain to anyone about it because it would be so humiliating to admit they’re broke.

We don’t know how many of his own cars he sold off, and we don’t know what happened to all their money.

    I don’t have a good guess for this one, but I highly disagree with the guesses for Michael Jordan. I just read an article that said he easily makes $60 million a year doing absolutely nothing because Nike/Air Jordan/Air Max and all of those shoe lines/clothing lines give him royalties for using his name and likeness. If he’s spending/gambling away $60 million a year, holy crap he’s got big problems. But that doesn’t seem likely.

    So that’s probably way out, but I think set is still a clue, so maybe someone from a sports team known as The Badgers? I thought I was getting the hang of the clues, but maybe not!

    Didn’t he purchase a sports team? He’s married to a gorgeous Sport’s Illustrated model and has a kid now. Maybe he spent the money settling lawsuits about him allegedly giving his many former sex partners the gift that keeps on giving… herpes. Maybe they’re “returning their gift.” lol

    I think it’s David Beckham but I can GUARANTEE it is not Michael Jordan. He makes over 100 million a year from Nike and owns the Charlotte Hornets which made him become a billionaire in 2015.

    He does gamble a lot but with that kind of income there’s no way he’s selling cars to try and keep their house.

      No, you cannot guarantee it isn’t him. Even if nike does pay him 100 mil a year (the govt. Will take half) that leaves about 50. And even if it were 100 mil after taxes, it doesn’t matter. He probably places incredibly high bets. Gambling can destroy ANY level of wealth… ANY.

    No way it’s Mayweather he is set for life.
    Michael Jordan can be a gambler all he wants but his money is well invested.

    Probably Michael Jordan. if it was Posh and Becks, she would have been doing the Spice Girls Tour. As it is, she squashed rumors that there would be a reunion. At least that is the way it was last month. I don’t know if things have changed.

    Scottie Pippen…he’s very famous but does not have much current interest in him. No endorsements or anything and he loves cars.
    It’s definitely not Michael Jordan since he is a billionaire and we all know they get everything for free. Also, his Nike line is still very strong. He gambles what he can afford to lose. This man will never be broke.

      Scottie sounds about right. Larsa spends money like crazy. It probably costs a fortune for her to keep up with the Kardashian-Jenners.

    Use of word “Crying” in the title of this blind makes me think of the “crying Jordan” meme, and the word “set” makes me think of basketball, so Michael Jordan is my guess.

    Some ex-athletes who come to mind as possibilities: peyton manning, kobe bryant, michael jordan, david beckham.
    That’s just 4 guys who are quite famous sports guys (though the first 3 are far more famous here in the states) as far as jordan goes: it’s no secret he’s a fan of gambling. That’s a habit that can destroy any level of wealth.

      Think the Beckham’s get all their Cars for free anyway – all Dealers would love them to drive their cars as it’s massive PR for their brands. The likes of Bentley, and Land Rover etc.

      It explains why VB is suddenly on board with getting the Spice Girls back together again (which no one wants) and being so greedy about the percentage that she wants to do it.

      He’s been bailing out his wife’s fashion ‘business’ for years now. That’s going to drain millions. Most of these people have other super expensive drug habits. Probably he wastes it on women too.

      He has never struck me as the brains in that relationship so if they were broke I don’t think he’d have to be the one telling her as I doubt he is the one clued up on the family finances.

      I thought about Michael Jordan too but he’s worth 1.65 billion as of 2018. Michael Jordan was the first person I thought of.

    At first , Reggie Jackson because he likes cars but he has been divorced since the 90’s .Jose Canseco overextended hiimself but not married ! This has a Michael Jordan vibe . Jordan likes to throw money around and likes to collect cars. He has always been cocky as if he is immune to everything and is known to gamble and make outrageous wagers on the Golf Course .!

      When he left bb to play baseball, I remember the rumors that he was actually suspended for gambling on basketball and that the baseball was a big smokescreen.

    I dunno, but maybe having all those cars for no good reason might be one of their problems. Why do 2 people need 12 cars? If I had that kind of dough, I’d own three cars, tops.

      Well he’s known to wear #23. He wore #12 once when he was with the Bulls and it was for Valentine’s Day.

      He wore the number 12 one Valentines Day when the Bulls had been on the road for several trips. Not sure if his #23 jersey was stolen or lost that night but the story goes the only extra jersey the Bulls had with them that had no name on the back was the #12. Regardless of the jersey number, Jordan played a good game that night. Don’t know if this is him but he did wear the #12 once.

    Reggie Bush? Really a swing for the fences for me as i do not live in the States. I just remember he really had a lot of cars.

    Spent it like it was going out of fashion. Very simple maths: More $ outgoing than incoming means loss.

      Good guess, but they all do – football, baseball and basket ball stars literally make musicans and actors look POOR in the USA. They get like $250 mil contracts and insane things like that. I’d say this has to be someone with SO much money you’d never expect it – like someone who is at hero level. Gotta be Michael Jordan. That would be SHOCKING. He made SO much money in sports, but his “Jordans” (the nike shoes) – EVERYONE wears. And they’re pricey.
