First Class Yelling

[Blind Gossip] This under-40 celebrity couple was traveling over the Thanksgiving weekend.

They had booked first class tickets on a commercial flight.

They got caught in traffic and missed the flight.

So they sat in the executive lounge and waited for the next flight… and the next… and the next.

We were actually lucky enough to get two people volunteer to be bumped so we could get them seats on the next flight out. He was going to take them, but she was yelling at him, “We are NOT flying coach! We are NOT flying coach! I’m not flying with all those people!”

Who are “those people”? Non-celebrities. Normal people.

She didn’t even say “Thank you” to us for working so hard to get them on another flight. They wound up sitting in the lounge for hours and and passing on three flights in a row because she refused to sit anywhere but first class!

    IVANKA AND JARED. The Trump private jet was being used by Melania so she wouldn’t have to stay for all of the holiday weekend…

      Ivanka and Jared have flown coach with their children before and had to put up with harassment from some obnoxious jerk. It was on a Jet Blue flight last December. I really doubt it was them, but after that situation I wouldn’t blame either for wanting to stay in first class.

    This says “celebrity couple” so I’m guess it’s not an acting couple or anyone known for having any talent. So that leaves reality “celebrities” but I don’t know who.

    for some reason i think emma roberts and evan peters they were somewhere for thanksgiving and she seems like she would be up and arms about it funny she is a brand ambassador for the brand coach but wont fly coach

    Serena Williams & Alexis Ohanian?

    They recently traveled for their honeymoon, both in their 30s. I hope not, though bc I don’t think Serena would be so rude. Then again, I don’t know her personally.

      Not them, they were photo’d getting on a private jet heading to their honeymoon destination.

    If it was a domestic flight I’d take the seat; if it was an overseas or very long flight I probably wouldn’t.

      Khloe just flew back from Cleveland after spending Thanksgiving w/her BB player bf. But I don’t know if they flew out of LA together and the clue says “couple”.

    By the way “all those people” pay her wages. She is no better than “all those people” she just has fame and money. I wouldn’t want her anywhere near me on a plane with that attitude. And for me flying first class is not about being away from other people it’s about comfort

      I totally get that but it’s possible if she is famous she’s doesn’t want a lot of attention in the plane. It’s a small space and flying makes people nervous. It would feel much smaller and more suffocating if a bunch of people around her recognized her and were trying to snap pictures of her sleeping or something. I would understand the not wanting coach because you know flying sucks and first class helps make it not suck

    Depends how long the wait is and how long the flight is and the destination. Three hours or more — I would want first class. Otherwise take one of your Hollywood medications and go to sleep for the flight.

    I don’t believe the caught in traffic excuse. They didn’t plan ahead — on a holiday plan two hours in traffic for a 35 mile drive and be at the airport two hours early.

    If there’s no time crunch, why not wait? The “three flights” she passed on could be no more than an hour’s worth of delay.

    And as she paid for first class, she should get first class. Perhaps she should have made it clear that she wasn’t interested in a downgrade earlier, but it’s not hard to assume.

    I travel in First when I can, and when I wrecked an itinerary in August and had to downgrade, I wasn’t thrilled, either. The airline was very nice, though.

      Right. Who would want to fly coach if they don’t have to, especially if it’s a long flight? I’ve never flown anything but coach. Can’t say I blame them.

    Tbh, if I got used to sitting in first class I wouldn’t want to downgrade, either. Plus I’m an introvert and if I were famous I also wouldn’t want to be surrounded by people. If I were in a hurry trying to reach my destination, then I’d bite the bullet and go coach, otherwise I’d hang out in the lounge, too

      I was fortunate to fly first class and my flight was cancelled. I paid for first class and when they tried to reschedule me for coach, I was like, “Nope. I’ll wait.” It really didn’t help that the flight they wanted to move me to was not only coach, but a middle seat as well. So, I guess I’m saying I’m Team First Class. 🙂
