    Tom Cruise for sure. What a kick, and I hope Brooke Shields is snickering.

    Pain pills, for sure! I’m coming at it from a different view. I grew up in a family that felt that suffering was a gift to God, so no pain pills, even aspirin. It was hell to be around, because no one suffered in silence.

    That’s why I don’t use pain meds that are based in opiates. If I’m in pain, I will keep popping Tylenol or Advil extra strength as I need to, but I will not use anything with opiates.

    This is Dylan O’Brien. He’s had a mild drug problem for a long time. It’s sad because he is truly talented. Hope he gets some support.

    The problem with pain pills may not be the physical relief, but the emotional relief the can falsely make you feel you’re having. If you don’t hurt physically, especially after doing something demanding, then all is right with the world, right Superman?

    I have a high pain tolerance and avoid pain killers if possible. Better IMO to know when there is pain so you can know to avoid worsening it. But i have never had chronic pain – that i understand is a different ball game.

    I’d only take what my doctor prescribed and advised me what’s best, and my own personal opinion on how to manage my pain. If the pain meds provide me a little extra lift…oh well. Smoking pot relieves pain symptoms also, without the addiction risks. Legalize it already. Alchohol is much worse than weed. Fact.

    I’m thinking maybe Tom Cruise because he broke his ankle and the picture is of a brunette male with an injured ankle/foot.
    I personally love pain meds and take them if the dr. feels I need them. I’m sure COS isn’t thrilled but if he needs them, he should take them.

    Oh yeah, I would! I am a totally weenie when it comes to severe pain. But my mind doesn’t react to that stuff, luckily. Mr. Tiptoe Tommy had better watch his step, though, as his love for all things Thetan might turn into love for all things Miss Cabbage be hatin!

    I always take the meds for a day or two, and then stop and try to tough it out.

    I’m hoping not because of “actor” but it will be really sad if this is Steve-O because he has been so good in his recovery. He has had a couple major injuries this year that he says he only uses Advil for. I hope it’s not him.

    I’ve been toughing it out every day for over 22 years – I suffer with, among other conditions, Fibromyalgia and never take ANYTHING and just live through the pain, even on days when it’s a 10+ level.

    Tom Cruise.
    Guess the pain overwhelmed his Scientology beliefs long enough for him to like the Norco! I broke my foot and it was more pain than I had with 2 C-sections and 3 shoulder surgeries. Broken bones are the worst, and the foot and ankle bones most of all IMHO.

    Tom Cruise — another problem he has is Scientology. They frown upon using medication unnecessarily, and in some cases, using it at all.

    If I were injured, I’d take the meds. There is no reason to be in pain.

    I’d take meds if needed for a short time. Last major surgery I had I was off them in 2 days. I hate them and how they make me feel. Hot flashes suck.

    Ryan Phillipe, and I have needed pain pills but because of the addiction issues some people have, my doc wouldn’t give me enough. I had to turn to the bottle and get drunk because of the pain. Then physical therapy made the pain worse for awhile until it finally started helping. I am now pain free and no addiction problems. I had to budget my pain pills and take them with whisky. My teenage nephew bit his tongue off playing baseball and was given Oxycontin. I was flabbergasted.

    Toughen up buttercup. I have had 8 bad sprains/ankle fractures & 3 ankle surgeries. And I strut in stilettos today.

    But I’m not as old as Tom. He can work those lifts again in his shoes in no time.

      Wow! They are just shoes, and it is worth it to wear more modest heels now so that you are not forced to wear compression socks (or worse) on the regular when you get older. Those stilettoes won’t look as sexy when you develop cankles…

    Tom Cruise. I would take the pain medication. I’ve never had any issues with addiction so I wouldn’t worry about getting hooked on pain meds.

      Opioids aren’t dangerous *if* they’re used as directed *and* only when you’re really in physical pain to the extent that you *need* the drugs. You can’t just take them every four hours until they’re gone or addiction is almost guaranteed.

      You can take them as and when needed for decades without problems if you follow this advice. I know, because I’ve taken vicodin, fentanyl and etc. for cancer and other diseases regularly for fifteen years and am not addicted.

      Umm, unless you’re talking about paracetamol or ibuprofen I’m pretty sure they are ALL potentially addictive. ..
