    James Cameron is trying to disguise badmouthing a successful female director, a strong female lead character and a successful movie as ‘feminism’, when in fact it is just his bruised ego talking.
    Where was his feminist itch to point out the crimes against feminism in the movies his male colleagues directed? And having such an opinion about Wonder Woman, how would he depict, let’s say, a Michael Bay movie?

    No because I’ve read before that he is a nightmare director to his leading ladies. I believe the example given at the time was Kate Winslet in Titanic. And is it possible for a man to really tell women what is best for feminism and what us the most feminist movie? Sure, they can give opinions but at the end of the day, you have to live it to know it.

    Cameron and Whedon suffer from the same syndrome of simultaneously exalting and debasing female characters. Former geeks turned mega wealthy and powerful who now interpret women from this point of view. Guys once beta now alpha who see women as either unattainable/Goddess like OR as *.     I think Cameron is jealous of Jenkins’success and he is right to be jealous because he wrote and directed the most feminist characters of the movie history ( Ripley,Sarah Connor …) whereas Jenkins just wrote and directed a charming badass character

    James Cameron who criticized WONDER WOMAN. 5X married. Kathryn Bigelow is one hell of a director so to say she wouldn’t get his hours or dedication is ridiculous. She also didn’t get the easier path in directing allotted to MALES.

    Either James Cameron or Clint Eastwood but Eastwood has always gotten the acclaim for being a feminist friendly Director but he does have his baggage and judging by that Detroit movie he is obviously not a fan of PC. In Chris Kyle movie he referred playfully to Sienna Miller ‘s pregnant character as fatty and rumor has it him and his last ex’s divorce was not amicable . I would say Eastwood. Cameron is just an outright misanthropist.
