Cannes Face

[Blind Gossip] This young actress has been making quite a splash in Cannes. Rather than talking about her choice of companions, though, we’re going to talk about something else.

Her face.

I saw her last year while she was filming [her TV series] and she looked awesome. Her skin was clear, and she looked really healthy.

When I saw her in Cannes, though, I was shocked! It looked like she had been gouging out chunks of her face with her fingernails. There were all these horrible, picked-over scabs and pit marks. Not acne, not a chemical peel or lasers or anything like that. She was wearing a thick layer of makeup, but even that didn’t cover it up whatever was going on. Scabs and pits. It was just really gross.

Yikes!

    I’m more disturbed by her rachet weave and rainbow friend. Maybe Scott finally found somebody he can be his drug-loving self with.

    I don’t know the actress but it has to be meth. Meth eats holes in the brain. Check out some CAT scans of meth addicts’ brains. It is the drug that makes you a zombie. Sad situation. Prayers for this actress that she gets help to stop immediately.

    What’s going on w/ anyone who’s skin turn that bad within a year. 1. Puberty (which sounds like this actress is too old for. 2. Heavy drugs and depriving the body of healthy nutrients…like food.

    Dunno who this is but sounds like she is suffering from excoriation disorder. It is brought on in childhood by abusive, overbearing parents, most likely the mother. It is a horrible disorder and I’m sure very embarrassing for her-God bless and keep her.

      You made a reasonablr observation….I have excoriation acne at tge moment and would hate for anyone to think I use recreational drugs. I don’t. Never have. My doctors & dermatologist recon it’s due to years of unrelenting workplace bullying. This may not be relevant to the actress in this blind but it’s a fair assumption ☺

    Don’t know the actress, but I bet it’s “meth face.” Meth stimulates the sensory nerves to the point where it feels like there are bugs under the skin. That’s why meth addicts constantly pick at their skin, creating pits, sores, scabs and scars. Plus it thickens and wrinkles the skin after only months of use. Not pretty.

    No idwa as to who it is. What could be the reason for her deterioration? Sounds like meth to me.
    When people use meth, they develop the conditions described.

    Optional: I don’t know, I’d suspect drugs like meth but I hope not. The scars are permanent, though she probably has the money to pay to fix it. Maybe it is a mental health issue?

      Junkie = heroin, and even though one of the side effects of the opioid “high” is becoming itchy, it’s typically not to the “rip off your skin” level & fades as the user builds up tolerance. No- this has got to be an upper. Meth is usually most associated with this but it can be any upper. I’ve thought Bella Thorne was on uppers on many occasions & remember a blind years back about someone who’s cosmetic tv commercial had to be spliced…

    Optional: Drugs. This is sadly a common side effect of amphetamine addiction. They literally DO gouge out chunks of their face with their fingernails. Commonly known as “meth face,” but it can be any amphetamine – Molly, Adderall, etc.

      ^ You are right. When doctors prescribe different kinds of Adderall, it has this effect. Sad but true.

      That’s probably because you’re not abusing it. I have a friend who’s on Adderall, but unfortunately he doesn’t always use it responsibly. I remember one occasion when he took too much and went crazy attacking all of the blackheads on his face and ended up covered in scabs. Adderall can definitely have this effect if you don’t use it as prescribed.

      This. I was on 30mg Adderall meant to take twice a day, but I heavily abused it. I never even realized how bad I was until my mom began to point out how badly I would grind my jaw. On top of that, I’d pick my skin like there was no tomorrow. Any “flaw” and I was DIGGING. My face and chest/breasts were covered in scabs, craters everything. I’ve been off it for years now, but I still have circled scars everywhere on my chest from it. So yes, abusing Adderall can absolutely have those effects.

    Bella Thorne.
    This poor kid’s in freefall. She supposedly has really bad acne but other things must be contributing to her skin condition and the drastic physical change that has happened over the past year.

    Bella Thorne. You can see how bad her skin is even with heavy makeup in the pics with Scott Disick. Her sister has the same look. Drugs, meth to be exact.
