[Blind Gossip] You are probably wondering what is really going on with this female entertainer.

Everything seems to be falling apart in her life right now, both personally and professionally.

She initially tried to blame the collapse of her latest project on her work colleagues. They were supposedly performing poorly at their jobs and ruining the production.

Then, a different story. Her relationship with her man was on the rocks and her angst over their relationship was the reason she was unable to carry on.

So, what’s the truth?

It was all her. She was an unprofessional mess.

Some of this does stem from her relationship with her man. It’s a long story, but we will try to keep it brief.

She glommed onto him because he was so sure of himself but then she let him take over her life. She was unable to make a move without him in her ear telling her what to do. Trouble was that he was giving her bad advice.

What kind of bad advice?

He was telling her that she was a queen and to make demands and then not back down on anything.

That might work if you are telling a superstar quarterback to hold out during negotiations. But it’s a huge fail if you are an artist on a big production.

Why would that approach fail?

Creative productions are collaborations. The talent and multiple departments all have to give and take to move the production forward. You’ve got a budget and deadlines. You propose, you debate, you settle, you approve and you move the f*ck on.

She would approve something and all the departments would spring into action and work overtime to make it happen. Then she would come back a week later and say that it was all wrong and demand to change it. WTF?!? We don’t work that way!

If you are trying to change a few dance steps, that’s one thing. But when you are trying to change an entire act, that’s a no go.

She wasn’t being a diva. We’ve worked with plenty of those. She was a disrespectful idiot being manipulated behind the scenes.

How did she react when the team pushed back?

When people pushed back she would immediately get on the phone to him. She was pouting and whining and crying.

Then she would come back to production and demand and cry some more. She was insecure and it seemed like she was always on the verge of a nervous breakdown. It was totally f*cking exhausting. She was impossible to work with. 

She was on the phone with him a hundred times a day, complaining and asking him to tell her what to do. It’s hard to respect someone like that.

The dude knows jack about how this works but he was definitely running her.

What do you mean by running her?

He was acting like he was her manager.

He’s NOT her f*cking manager. He is just some dude she is f*cking!

He comes from a totally different world and was giving her really bad advice.

Do you think he was trying to be her manager?

I know she’s got an agent and a manager, etc., but he took over so it sure seemed that way. She is insecure and he is controlling so he just might succeed.

That brings up the interesting question of motivation.

Is he in a relationship with her because he loves her? Or is it because he wants to manage her?

    Adele, my bell, these are words that go together well, my Adele: dump this dude & JLaw, then rediscover your original core of decency & values. If you are insecure? Admit it, accept it, then work with & on it. Don’t expect your boyfriend to fix it for you. You were a cool chick in the past, now you are the weak female who clings to her man no matter what. You mean to tell me that you know less of what to do in your professional life than your boyfriend? Not buying it!

    Some years ago Adele showed up to a local cat cafe and threw a stink when they didn’t let her in because it was booked for a kid’s birthday party. I think one of her staff pulled the old ‘Do you KNOW who she is?’.

    I hoped that was one-off behavior, but combined with this blind it paints a different picture of her.

    She needs to get her arse back to London and away from fake, plastic Hollyweird. Ultimately it just eats you alive if you’re sensitive. Which she is.

    Plus, her priority should be to her son, not some blowhard with his phone attached to his head.

    I have sympathy for her, so I am no going to criticise her.
    My advice would be to leave the fake world of show business in America, and come back to the UK. At least she has people in the UK, that genuinely care about her.

    Adele. She’s become so insufferably narcissistic since the divorce, weight loss, and move to LA. I wonder if she even realizes that this Vegas residency fiasco has ruined her credibility and reputation forever.

      The new Adele seems to be weirdly restless. Don’t get me wrong, but if a person who eat to beat stress suddenly stop doing it, they person need a long therapy. Otherwise one unhealthy coping mechanism will be replaced with another (this guy and his approval), and there You have it. Don’t think she realised there are other opinions about her behaviour beside his, and if she does and he really manipulates her- there is always gaslighting.

    Adele obvs, blowing up her Vegas residency and taking a lot of people down with her. She’s a mess. I live in Vegas and personally know people who were supposed to be part of the show, and now are screwed bc of her stupid meltdown/tantrum/whatever tf she pulled. Sorry, I don’t have a lot of sympathy for her.

    Jeez, she’ll dump him and then we’ll have to endure two more moany albums about her broken heart, stalking him and his new girlfriend then the moving on bit at the end. Shame because she used to seem down to earth and a bit of a laugh but now believes her own hype. Never liked her music mind you.

      Rich Paul is not a genius. He is lucky to have LeBron as a client. He has messed up several other clients with bad advice such as Ben Simmons, Nerlens Noel and Schrooder.

    This is Adele and her sport agent boyfriend. She’s bounced through a lot of men recently. I am always suspicious when I see singers who do not want to perform live. Makes you think that they are using the studio tools to excess and can’t reproduce that sound outside of the environment. I think she might have had weight loss surgery which can affect your voice quality as well.

      Saw an interesting quote from a vocal coach, who said that Adele’s singing technique is really bad for the vocal cords, it’s fine for recording but not live performances. She’s already had issues with her voice, has a history of cancellations in the UK. Singing twice a week, for several months, was never a good idea for her. Should never have agreed to do this residency to begin with. (Wonder if the boyfriend talked her into it?)

    This is obviously Adele and Rich Paul. If any of it is true, it’s so sad that someone as ballsy as Adele has been reduced to someone so needy and weak. I can’t comment on whether it’s love for him or not, but I think being a negotiator for mega sports stars, he saw $$$ potential and huge exposure from an association with her.

      I would say what they say when you go into a 12 step program: don’t make any major life decisions in the first 12 months after hitting weight loss goal from surgery. That process is so much more than just losing weight. I am not the least surprised she’s freaking out, she’s going to feel so much more vulnerable, and uncertain of who she is now.

    Adele. She’s not cut out for show biz, she doesn’t have the professionalism for it. She always cancels or creates some sort of drama.
    So over her. When the local radio station plays any of her songs, i change the channel.

    She is over in the UK this Friday to perform at the Brit awards, and go on Graham Norton. She needs reminding of who she is, because she isn’t a doormat. Her success may well have gone to her head, but if she sees that the fans are all that counts maybe she will wake the eff up and act like a professional again.

    She seems very isolated in the US without real friends who can tell her the truth so is relying on him. A residency was easy money, can’t believe she’s messing it up.

    She might have lost a significant amount of weight (and bravo), but she’s also become too big for her britches. She canceled her Vegas stint (sorry no refunds) then jumped on a plane to patch things up w/ bf. Just like her music these days, it’s the same ol’ same ol’ and she’s rolling in the shallows. Adele.

      Yes. And that plane she jumped on was a Caesar’s Palace plane. Using their plane, staying in the most luxurious suite at the hotel, reportedly demanding that Caesar’s install a new, expensive sound system. Caesar’s spent a fortune on her, got nothing in return, and she doesn’t seem to care. She’s trashed her reputation.

I thought she was stronger and fearless. Not so much. I would tell her to dump him!!! But she won’t. She’ll let him completely ruin her career.

    Obviously Adele and her boyfriend Rich Paul. My advice: Tell her to grovel with the Las Vegas show folks, apologize profusely, tell them she was out of line, and beg and plead for another chance. She’s a singer. Let the other talented people handle the set design, costuming and special effects because they are experts at what they do. Then just show up, sing and collect your (huge) paycheck! Easy Peasy and no high melodrama!

    Adele. I adore her voice, but I would never buy tickets to see her in person. She’s done this even before she had this sports agent boyfriend, and she’s worse now. She should be refunding every ticket and plane fare since she didn’t give notice until it was too late for her fans.

    If she were my friend, I would tell her she is going down a dangerous path and she needs to think about her child and their future security and pray that she snaps out of it.

    She needs to sort it out in therapy.

    Gotta be Adele. Rich Paul may be a good sports agent but he obviously sucks as an entertainment manager. Well she won’t be the first person to throw her lot in with the wrong person. It’s just a question if how long it takes her to either figure out that he sucks as a manager or for him to get tired of her weepy dependent act. I’d tell her to drop Paul but I suspect that would be a waste of air.

    I’d say she seemed like she was going to stop being a victim when she decided to divorce. And lost the weight. That she took her life and destiny into her own hands. That she owned it. And now she’s given it back & gone back to victimhood. I’m sure it stems from a lack of self esteem/confidence from a father not being around. She has a deep rooted insecurity, and needs to work on herself & stop looking to someone else to rescue her.

    Advice: ditch the bad boyfriend manager who really only knows sports and find a good therapist instead.
