[Blind Gossip] Before young adults were forced to attend school via distance learning and virtual classrooms, there was college.

Real college.

Where you moved to a new city, lived in a dormitory or a Greek house, went to toga parties and crushed beer cans against your forehead like John Belushi in Animal House.

In between those activities, you went to class, took exams, and accumulated enough college credits to cross the stage, receive a diploma, and graduate with a degree that provided you with lifetime bragging rights.

Let’s talk about one celebrity and the impressive college education she received years before everyone was forced to go to school online.

The woman we are talking about is the wife of a famous man but is also famous in her own right.

While her educational achievements have been mentioned in dozens of articles, we found out something rather interesting.

She claims to have a B.A. She does not. She only attended college for a little while. She dropped out.

What?!

It turns out that Wife did not receive a diploma. She did not receive a college degree.

Is it possible that everyone else simply assumes that she graduated?

No.

Her online biography on her own website used to explicitly and proudly declare that she is a graduate of that prestigious school! She didn’t say attended. She said graduated.

While that entire bio was recently scrapped and Wife is now taking a break from social media, it is clear that the lie originated from her.

We don’t know what the Husband’s role is in all this. Does he think she actually graduated? Or does he know the truth and is participating in this charade along with her?

One particularly interesting repeat of the “she graduated from X” lie occurred in her very official wedding announcement in the society pages of a large newspaper.

The fact sheets for the wedding announcements are submitted by the bride and groom themselves. This particular newspaper prides itself on its meticulous fact-checking. However, they missed this one.

Is it too late to run a correction?

While a fake degree might not seem like a big deal, it is insulting to those who actually stuck it out and put in the work to legitimately earn their degree from that institution.

It is also just more evidence of the weirdly fake and duplicitous life that Wife has been leading.

Her fake persona may have helped her to snag her rich and famous husband… but will he continue to stand by her?

    Hmmm…I just reread the description again & picked up on the “took a break from social media” or something like that. Hillary Baldwin is off all social media, according to Alec. What a nutter. How could he not have known all along the truth about her? She’s got some serious problems.

    I just can’t decide if this is Meghan or Hillary! I am stuck on the woman being ‘famous in her own right’ since that doesn’t apply to either – Meghan was on Suits but wasn’t what I would call famous. Goodness, maybe this is someone else altogether, what a thought! I can’t imagine 1) lying about something like this or 2) thinking I could get away from it long term!

    This is the story that just keeps on giving!!! Hahahahaha!!!! Frankly, I can’t get enough of it, because I think celebrities’ deceitfulness in the name of preserving their public image plays a big part in the downward spiral of our culture. Obviously this is about Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas-Baldwin (AKA Hilaria) and that “Smart-Alec” Baldwin. I wonder if he would’ve give her a second look if she were just another brunette American. My goodness, this is getting interesting. Another high profile faker! But, yes, he should stay with her. They’ve got five kids, it would be ridiculous for him to leave.     I forgot to say that absolutely Harry should divorce her, but he won’t because she has his balls in a Vice -grip.

It can’t be Hillary Thomas because nobody outside of her friends and family would have cared about her wedding announcement; that only leaves Megs.     She does this to make herself look better, I presume, rather than to appear as just another college dropout. Should her husband stay married to her? It’s up to him. If he truly loves her, then yes. But if he feels like he’s been used and manipulated, then no.

Kate’s been criticized a lot over the years, but no one’s ever suggested she didn’t have a college degree or lied about anything!
