Nursing Their Ego

[Blind Gossip] While many people are looking for ways to help people stay inside and/or in good health, this singer is home inflating their own sense of self-importance.

They are one of those people who will jump on the internet and perform a song or two for the entertainment of those who are home.

However, don’t you dare underestimate how important they are to society!

I’m a first responder. This is an emergency and I’m there on the front lines of the battle. What I do is critical to society. A health care worker can only help a few people, but I help thousands or millions.

Really?

You think you are just as important to society as an EMT, a doctor, a nurse, a police officer, or a fire fighter?

Eye roll.

in fact, we can think of lots of people beyond our real first responders who are more important than singers right now: package delivery people, truck drivers, grocery store workers, people at home sewing surgical masks….

    Shout out to: Retail workers!!!! In fact, my neighbor’s daughters works for a big, hardware co. They have her going to hospitals, handing out face masks. How awesome is that, to deliver life-saving medical “devices” to the extremely deserving doctors & nurses?? And another shout out to: doctors & nurses! One of my cousins is an emergency room nurse & I know she’s exhausted. I can only imagine what she has seen! Sending my thanks to all in both groups!!!

    This actually sounds like Alicia Keys. She recently released a hammy song about using our voices to rise up. It’s on Amazon commercials. In addition, I believe she just performed for an online benefit last night with the BSB.

    For my shout out: I want to thank my Dad. He works in gases and he manages a store that is actively keeping local hospitals stocked with oxygen, medical air, etc. I’m so proud of him. He is scared of getting sick, but he still goes every day. Thank you, Dad!

    Everyone is thanking all the correct people in previous comments, so I will
    add Amazon Distribution Center workers. I read a blurb about how many people touch just one box on the conveyor belt for shipping. 2nd thanks goes to restauranteurs doing free meals for anyone who asks, No forms, no questions, just a meal.

Those people med and non med on the front lives putting themselves at risk. Many have families . It is heartbreaking ! It is like an imperiled battlefield situation. A shoutout to all of them from the bottom of my heart & the top of my lungs.

    Sorry Celebrities. Even the beloved ones from my Boomer years like Sir Macca . You are important as a human being but not worth the people in our society who are putting themselves at risk to keep civilization/humankind going .This may turn horribly tragic for our medical people on the front lines & all our non med workers You are the ones that make me think there may be a Greater Good after all . I sing to you from my isolation ! From my lungs that are still working full throttle !

    Shout out to the dock workers, air cargo workers, and truck drivers who are the only reason stores have anything on the shelves, and warehouses have stock to ship to us.

    It’s either Madonna or Jennifer Lopez. Both so full of themselves. The world would just cease to exist if it wasn’t for either of them. Both have the same mindset ( me,me,me). Both have the same dumb look in the eyes, the lights are on, everyone’s home, but if it’s not about them they are clueless. Easier to just stick a mirror in front of them like they do for birds. Keeps them happy & quiet, while the real grownups get on with doing the things that need to get done.

    Not sure who this * is, but shout out to the Cleaning/Sanitization crews and our IT folks. I’m still working from home thankfully because of IT, but I worry every day about our cleaners and medical supply teams who can’t stay home. We now operate 24×7.

    Just a guess, but Madonna?

    Thanks to all the truck drivers who are bringing the supplies everyone needs. They need help finding places to park their trucks while they get a bite to eat. Plus thanks to all the housekeepers in the hospitals who are trying to keep the places clean with so much stuff going on.

    Not sure who the singer is, but a huge thank you to those working at essential businesses and to those willing to shop and deliver groceries and other items. I am at home with my parents, both of whom are at higher risk due to age and other health conditions. So those who are doing deliveries are saving me from having to go out and possibly infect my parents.

    Singer: I don’t know why, but this made me think of the recent weird post from Madonna singing in the bathtub. I’m still trying to un-see that one.

    Give a shout out to someone–Thank you, everyone BG just mentioned. And all Costco employees. My hubby works for Costco, and they are going above and beyond the call of duty. He comes home exhausted each day with another story of someone going crazy screaming at him or his coworkers. They are at their limits right now.

    This virus has exposed so many celebrities for the narcissistic shallow people they are….The ones posting videos of their quarantines in their mansions while so many have lost their jobs and are worried about their health and future.

    My shout out is to all the nurses and doctors that are fighting the fight without proper protection at great risk to their own health and their families & the workers in the grocery stores ensuring we have what we need while also being in the line of fire.

    I would like to express thanks to those who are working in the grocery stores, making sure that food supplies keep coming. And that includes the truck drivers and delivery people who are working such long hours. Thank you!

    I see lots of appreciation for healthcare workers, retail (my part-time job), delivery, food service. But how about a shout out and thanks for custodians at these business? I know the cleaning crew at my full time job (at a bank call center) has been working really hard to sanitize and clean everything.

    Right now, my hat’s off to all the employees at my local Walgreens & Jewel Oscos who keep stepping up for their customers in this crisis … & not only with masks, & social distancing.

    Shout out to the NHS. Millions of us gave them a round of applause from our porches, gates (anywhere where we didn’t get to close together) at 8 pm on Thursday. They do an awesome job at the best of times and they are really overstretched at the moment.

    Thank you to health care workers – 2 in my family – and anyone else who has to work with the public and/or provides a necessary service. Thanks to people who are staying home, whether they are at risk or not. Boo to anyone who tested + but refuses to isolate. Yeah, they’re out there.

    Thank you, restaurant and fast food workers. I occasionally get takeout and can tell these places are suffering from the lack of business.

    As they said on TV, it would help to buy gift cards from them to use later when this is all over.

    Op- shout out to those hourly people working the grocery stores and placing themselves at high risk despite all the precautions. Just one group- so many warriors out there.

    Oh please. I don’t know who it is but when they are taking covid 19 patients for 12 hours…with me…then they can consider themselves a first responders.

    There are many…EVERYONE at the hospitals, clinics, home health, grocery stores, restaurants for our takeout, I mean I could go on and on.

    No idea who this is. But I think this little reset has hopefully shown all of them how non essential they are. Every single one of them.

    I work for a police department and hubby is a truck driver. We are on the front lines and have been for weeks.
