[Pop Bitch] Which well-paid TV host has been highly critical of her colleagues’ coke-cutting?
When one of them very generously chopped her out a line from their own stash, the ITV host balked at the portion on offer.
She exclaimed, “Oh my god! Are you POOR?”

[Optional] What is the cheapest gift anyone ever gave you?

I don’t know who the host is, but I have to mention the cheapest gift. My then-husband checked a book out from the library, wrapped it up, and gave it to me for Christmas. I got to keep it a whole three weeks! 😆
jenskii says
Holly Willoughby, Amanda Holden or Laura Whitmore – one of those 3.

This. I think you have nailed it. I can imagine that coming out of her mouth too.
DroneQueen05 says
This is screaming Amanda Holden to me.
Initial thought was Holly but I genuinely think she’s a nice girl. Wholesome mummy is not an act according to her hairdresser who I know!
High Steppa says
And one more: The worst gift I ever got was 2 weeks after I had given birth. My ex gave me the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition for Valentine’s Day. So I could have some inspiration for getting back into shape (his words). Yes, he is an Ex.

No idea on the ITV Host.
The cheapest gift I ever got was a broken plaster butterfly. I opened it up & said, “Oh no, it got broken!” The person then said, “No, I bought it that way, it was 50% off!” Geez, the person didn’t have to say anything & I would have never known. Broken or not, it was a horrible gift. I was in the 4th grade & all the other little girls in class were getting Barbie Dolls & stuff. It was a $10 gift exchange, I had spent $10 on the gift I gave, she spent…

Holly Willoughby?
She’s the only one I can think of from ITV.

Holly and Phil for the win..

Just a guess, Laura Whitmore.
The cheapest gift was Santa Claus napkin rings from a summer sidewalk sale, the cost was 5 cents each and my SIL gave me 2. The gall was, I was shopping with her when we found them, everything at that sale was junk. Imagine my surprise when I unwrapped them as my Xmas gift months later. (¬_¬)

Holly Willoughby.
I don’t care about the cost of a gift. It’s nice that I’ve been thought of and given one.

My grandmother once gave me a tiny toy car as a gift. She didn’t like me much. My sister was given a giant cuddly bear.
amagod121 says
Every year grandmother always gave my sister and me night gowns with extremely scratchy seams, so you couldn’t actually wear them, but always gave her grandsons great gifts. So I can relate to you, Missgee66.

I will take a wild guess and say Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield. They are the only popular ITV presenters I know of.

Worst gift: from one of our groomsmen at our wedding. He never gave us a gift!
phillychick says
He did get you a gift: he was in your wedding which I’m sure cost a bunch of $
itstarapagain says
Exactly!! Lots of time involved too. Especially today. I sat through 2 years of listening to a subordinate’s wedding planning and was exhausted when it was over. It seemed like every weekend there was some event including not one but 3 bachelorette trips fully funded by the participants. Plus her hubby went on a guys week in south america fully paid for by groomsmen! (Heard they chose the destination because the drugs and brothels were cheap. I’m sure penicillin was involved back home

Optional – My first real boyfriend was really mean. I can remember one “present” that he got me – a selection of some of the oldest most scratched 45 singles (I’m showing my age here) that I have ever seen. I kid you not. Believe it or not, we went out with each other for 5 years!
amagod121 says
They might be worth something now! That may be the upside if his gift.

Sounds like the annoying and talentless Amanda Holden from Britain’s got talent.

One Christmas someone gave me “flashlight”
One of those they give away for free at the mall, etc.
It was weird because the person had given me other gifts – but the flashlight was also thrown in – gift wrapped and all.
It broke as soon as I turned it on.

I have no idea who this is, but that’s hilarious of her!
Cheapest gift I ever got? A bunch of plastic bric a brac from a gas station, for my birthday. I wasn’t asking for diamonds & furs, but it was just so sad …
Theaterfan says
A regifted dish towel.
amagod121 says
Looks a lot like Miss (Cheryl) Tweedy and she’s a judge on some dance show so I’ll go with her.
Cheapest gift: hmmmm, that’s a toughie. I guess it was the year that my ex-husband gave me nothing for Valentine’s Day, while saying he wished he could have bought me a little doll. I wasn’t mean about it but I was disappointed that he didn’t get me a few flowers or a small box of candy. You know, that stuff means a lot to you when you are young and wanting romance in your life.
