The Skirt Chaser

[Blind Gossip] This over-50 actor has been around forever and has appeared in some of your favorite films. He has slowed his roll a bit, but he was quite the skirt chaser back in his younger days.

Some those skirts did not want to be chased.

His partner is now bracing herself.

She has told friends that even though he has never admitted to anything, she has heard whispers of him forcing women to do things they didn’t want to do back in the day. She is afraid to confront him. She does not know if his name comes up if she should defend him or stay quiet or leave him or what. The uncertainty is killing her.

Not Dustin Hoffman, who has his own mess with which to contend.

  1. I wonder if it could be George Clooney. As a prominent human rights lawyer, his wife would have to deal with a whole extra level of scrutiny with respect to her response.

  3. Warren Beatty comes to mind. He liked the ladies, and it’s said that Carly Simon wrote one of the verses in “You’re so Vain” about Beatty. He’s been married to Annette Benning for a couple of decades or so. I am just guessing here. Maybe it’s Clooney or Kurt Russell.

    As an aside, I am wondering when the rock star floodgates are going to open. I was around in those years, and I KNOW there are stories to tell.

    • For rock stars, there are pictures and books were written. It was no secret, at all. Baby groupies they called them. The one that Jimmy Page and David Bowie hooked up with doesn’t want any press now. The blond one died. Plus, most rock stars from the day are gone as well. The #metoo movement is about women who finally are being heard and believed.

    I’d try to stand by partner if the allegations weren’t particularly vile. Cheating and straying outside the union are one thing. But a sexual predator, exploiter or a raging sexaholic are grounds for divorce. See ya’. You’ve made your bed…

  5. Warren Beatty. Famous womanizer. Starred with Dustin Hoffman in Ishtar. Hoffman has been accused of sexual harrasment on that set.

    Annette Bening is his famous spouse who probably knows everything.

    If it were my spouse it would depend on the circumstances and how long ago it was. If it was someone like Weinstein? Dump immediately. Someone like Al Franken? I’d not defend but not dump. Matt Lauer? I’d be horrified to find out I married Matt Lauer, in the first place.

    • I immediately thought of Michael Douglas, I think you’re right. I don’t know but slowed his roll reminds me of that movie Falling Down.

  19. Going on hints, I’m guessing Chevy Chase. Haven’t heard any of those sorts of rumors about him, but I have read several stories about him being quite the a-hole. He apperently had a terrible childhood also.

    • Nope, definitely not George, he’s gay. He would love us to THINK that it’s him , though. He’s so deep in the closet he’s on the back porch. His affairs with young men is the bomb that is going to drop.
