Virginity Pronouns

cherries 3[Blind Gossip] This under-30 singer/actor/whatever has dated lots of famous women. He’s probably dated two or three of them in the last year alone.

A recent disclosure on his part, though, raises more questions than it answered.

When he talks about losing his virginity, he is oddly careful about the words he uses. He doesn’t say that his partner is female, nor does he ever use any female pronouns. He refers to the partner as “this person” or “they” or “them”, instead of “this girl” or “her” or “she.”

Huh. That’s exactly what we do when we run a blind item but don’t want to give away the gender of the person. We wonder why he’s doing it.

    Nick Jonas

    He seems to talk this way. He states, “there was a person in the church”, he doesn’t specify whether it was a man or a woman. I don’t know his sexual preference, but his manner of speech isn’t a determining factor, IMHO.

    He’s gay but not ready to come out yet. Maybe it’s due to his very religious parents. There have already been various gay/bi/kinky rumors anout Joe and Kevin so he may be hesitant to come out.

    He is hot and is longevity in this business is to appeal to both sexes . I think it is a smart career move.

    I’m sure we’re supposed to think he’s being cagey about losing his virginity in a gay relationship. (And that’s likely what happened.)

    But it could also mean he was with a genderfluid person. They use them/they all the time. That would be a pretty cool story.

      If the correct guess is Nick Jonas, this would actually make a lot of sense. Miley Cyrus now identifies as genderqueer, so it would make sense that he tries to refer to the person using gender neutral pronouns.

    He ALWAYS uses gender-neutral pronouns when people ask what he looks for in a girlfriend. “Person,” “someone,” etc. When asked for important traits in a girlfriend, Liam Payne answered “female” and Harry immediately shot back “Not that important.”

    Because he is closeted and in order to acheive mainstream success you need to be as hetero as possible, otherwise you risk offending enough closedminded people to take away money/attention from the project.

      By all accounts, Nick and Miley Cyrus lost their virginity to each other. I wouldn’t put too much stock in a lack of pronouns.

      And you have been duped. Welcome to Hollywood, where children are hunted by gay predators. Corey Feldman said it to an interviewer. Where men have to turn gay to get jobs. Travolta said it to the masseuse. Truth is sometimes stranger and sometimes darker than fiction.

      This blind can’t be Harry Styles because all his interviews about losing his virginity are about his being terrified he got the girl pregnant. Not only does he use female pronouns in all articles about the subject, pregnancy is not exactly a fear when two men lol.
