Thumbs Up And Boos

thumbs up thumbs down[Blind Gossip] These two young and famous singer/actors worked together on a TV show many years ago. They were also good friends. Then they weren’t. Then they were. Who knows anymore.

They are both currently appearing in national commercials.

A certain group of young celebs (singers, actors, and models) saw two of their commercials one evening. The commercial girls themselves were not there.

The first girl – with whom the group is friendly – got cheers and thumbs up for her performance.

The second girl – with whom they are not friends – was roundly booed!

They couldn’t believe how bad the [second girl’s] commercial was. Her voice over was so flat and monotone. They were shocked.

“Dude, that was awful!” “Did she actually start out as an actress?” “Doesn’t she know how to sound excited about a product?” “Was she stoned when she did the voice over?” “Maybe she was drunk!” “How does she ever expect to get hired for another acting job?”

Based on those brief performances, they are predicting that the first girl has a great acting career ahead of her… and think that the second girl should go back to rehab!

    Selena and Demi with Taylor Swift’s “squad” dishing out the comments.

    I don’t have an opinion about their acting abilities but Selena can’t really carry a tune, whereas Demi is a fantastic singer. I think the “squad” needs to grow up and maybe deal with some jealousy issues… Demi could out-sing Taylor any time.

    Selena is good at comedy, Demi was ok in Sonny with a chance, neither are good at anything dramatic. They’d have a great career as the new Jennifer Aniston if they could get on a sitcom and get past the Disney label, but I highly doubt they are going to have a career in acting like previous Disney kids Jodie Foster and Kurt Russell.

    Critics being Taylor Swift’s squad, and I think Demi is both the better actress and singer. Never got the intrigue of Selena.

    [Optional] What do you think of their acting talents? Well, Demi definitely cannot even act like she cares about her fans always been unpleasant to them , so I can see why they booed her. Selena is a good comedic actress, but who knows if either will do acting anymore.

    Both are just ok at acting. Not awful, ok enough.

    Optional – I think Demi is a great actress, but an even better singer. (Wish she had better taste in boyfriends, though. Wilmer? No.) Selena is a pretty decent comedic actress – she has pretty good sarcastic timing. Any movie where she tries to be a serious actress is pretty lame, though….

    Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, don’t saw the commercials, bit Demi had bigger problems, and Selena is friends with Taylor and her pack, who probably are the “young celebs” from the blind.

    [Optional] Selena’s “acting talents” are non-existent. Demi’s aren’t much better, but she at least brings artistry and thoughtfulness to her music videos.

    I’m thinking this is Demi Lovato (boos), who’s been doing commercials for Sketchers, and Selena Gomez (thumbs up), who’s been doing commercials for Pantene, with the group of young celebs being Taylor and her “squad”. The show they did together was Barney and Friends.

      I just watched both and they are outright awful to me! Selena’s was just as cringeworthy as Demi’s, why can’t they just talk like they usually do?
