The Rejection

woman-singing-8[Blind Gossip] Ooohhh! This singer is mad! She controls her personal image very carefully and wants you to think that she is a success in everything she does.

She hates it when you talk about gigs she didn’t score. If you try to point out anything that didn’t go well, she runs directly to the magazines and websites who will lie for her and claim that it never happened or is totally exaggerated or that whoever said it is a liar.

What is she going to do now about a major actor is talking about her being rejected for a major film role? Call him a liar? Have her publicist call his publicist to get him to try to retract or backpedal? Say that she is the one who rejected the role because she couldn’t fit the filming schedule into her busy life? This could be interesting!

    This is about how Eddie Redmayne mentioned that Taylor Swift auditioned for Les Mis when clearing up the rumour about them dating. The fact that she auditioned was already public knowledge though.

    Me personally couldn’t stand her acting in American Horror Story, she was more wooden than the big oak tree in my neighbours garden! I used to like her music, first 2 albums, then I went off her, although I liked her Carpool with James Cordon. I didn’t think she was right for the role nor did I think Beyonce was right, I could see Adele in that role.

    Swiftly? I can’t help it, I kind of like the girl. Yes, she can be controlling and catty at times but I like how she takes her work quite seriously and does a good job of it. Dunno the actor or film. (Is Kanye considered an actor anywhere on this planet??) And I think it’s rather ungentlemanly of him to talk to the press about her not getting the part.

    no shame in admitting rejection. lots of actresses and singers auditioned for the part and didn’t get it. no biggie. i feel like famous musicians aren’t as used to this type of rejection as actors who are constantly auditioning for roles against their peers.

    Because this sounds like Taylor Swift I had to look it up. Talk about a total control freak, she’s such a fake trying to manipulate her persona. The biggest success stories include prior failings, making the person relatable and inspiring at the same time, and definitely not a loser.

    Eddie said in a recent interview that Taylor auditioned for Les Mis and they sung together. He also cleared up any misconception that they had ever been romantically involved.

    Optional: I think admitting your shortcomings shows more strength of character than trying to delude yourself and deceive others. Take it in stride and use it as a learning experience.

      The director already talked about in 2012, but I guess he didn’t get as much attention for this as Eddie with the Fantastic Beasts movie being out.
