In fact, we have another entire season of this nonsense to look forward to!

The media still have proposal plans, vacations together, real estate shopping, ring choices, bridesmaids and groomsmen, wedding lists, menus, flowers, music choices, dresses, wedding venues, honeymoons, half-hearted denials, paparazzi teases, etc. etc. etc. to report rumors about!

That’s the great thing about fake engagements. Lots and lots of topics to tease over a long period of time to support the fakeness!

Hey, by complete coincidence, isn’t a new TV season about to start?

By the way, Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey have nothing to do with this.

    Ugh, Gwen and Blake! I think they have agreed to be the guinea pigs to find out just how far this kind of thing can go.

    What I want to know is does a wedding planner really get hired? Are they in on it? Does everything get paid for like a real wedding or do they write a special contract to just pretend? Are friends and relatives forced to keep this lie going? The levels of fakery are just mind boggling!!

    The Voice is set to begin in September and Stefani’s tour is a bust, so what better time to trot out a fake wedding. Does this mean months and months of her gummy smile plastered all over the weeklies, gushing about how Shelton saved her after her last sham marriage. I’ve no tolerance for either of these two.

    No idea how long it’ll go on for. Can’t understand why people go so far with a fake relationship, especially when there are kids involved. Whatever about pretending to date but marriage is a whole other ball game surely.
