[Blind Gossip] As if there wasn’t enough controversy surrounding this headline-making Midwestern lady, we have some new information about one of her family members that is sure to add more fuel to the fire!

I know her brother a bit as he frequents [redacted names of pubs and clubs] in Soho and he used to “date” a male friend of mine in London. He uses the family surname. She apparently does not. He is well known in the LGBT community. He is a real bon vivant and fun to be around!

Wait a minute. So her brother is gay?

You betcha!

While we don’t know if his sexual orientation contributed to her odd and confusing relationship with him, this new information provides yet another twist to this very controversial story.

What a crazy political/ religious/ family/ legal/ international/ financial/ marriage mess!

    I just hope the MN newspapers can determine the truth once & for all about Omar. If she really did marry her brother, we need to know (& if that’s a nasty false rumor, we need to know that as well).

    I agree that this is Omar. I suspected that her brother might be gay when looking at some tweets posted on a DM article. They look very much alike, but his eyes look open and happy while hers look hard and cold.

    I don’t like Omar. I feel like she’s part of something that is hellbent on taking us down from within. Hatred for America and Israel just ooze out of her pores. Her disdain for both is palpable. I think she’s dangerous. She, AOC & squad have become ‘The Squad to Reelect…

    I’m surprised by all the hate she is getting on here. She is delightful and I’m glad she represents my state.

    Congresswoman Iihan Omar and her rumored husband/brother with the very
    long name. YOWZAH! The Minneapolis Star Tribune (not exactly a conservative
    newspaper) has turned up credible information the she did marry her brother for the visa. She also committed some tax fraud and campaign finance hijinks in there
    as well. She’s a crazy anti Semite and it’s on record. No mistaking her hatred of Jews. Her poor brother would be murdered for being gay in their old home country. Her future? Who knows?

    Geez, too bad her brother wasn’t the one to come here & become a politician. He sounds like a much more fun guy than Ilhan.

    Optional: I think she came to the US to cause malice. I also think that our government & people should not have to accommodate anyone who is a member of a religion that wishes to completely repress women & children, & actively harm gay people & those who do not follow their religious views. Also, their law contradicts our Constitution.

      My first thought was Sarah Palin, too. The clue was the “You betcha” comment. Sarah Palin was born in Idaho. Her family moved to Alaska when she was a few months old. Her brother’s name is Chuck Heath.

      kittymyers says…. Idaho isn’t the Midwest. Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Illinois etc…etc….Idaho would be closer to a western state.
