Not even close!

Let’s take you behind the scenes of the interview.

All of the questions AND answers were actually prepared, discussed, approved, and rehearsed ahead of time. Unusual, but not completely unheard of. The blocking (the placement and choreography of the talent on the set) and rehearsal with the celebrity took almost two full days. Finally, the filming of the interview actually took an entire day and over twenty takes!

Whew! Spontaneity takes an awful lot of careful planning and rehearsal!

None of this should surprise you. This is one young entertainer who has learned to carefully control her image. To her credit, we hear that she was extremely pleasant and professional during the entire interview process. One reason she may have been motivated to put so much work into this performance piece? She plans to take on a significant acting role in the next year. Yes, our girl is going to be a multi-hyphenate!

    I haven’t seen it yet but from all the other responses im guessing the 73 questions vogue. I have to say though, they are all RIDICULOUSLY rehearsed. I watched victoria beckham and actually had to turn it off it was so cringe(there’s a good spoof one out there though ?). Same with the Blake lively one, so practiced … The insincere thinking face ?

    Honestly, I wish some youngster could explain Taylor Swift to me, I just dont get it. She is all kinds of bland and boring to me.

    Yellow maybe her ridiculous lemonade drama she put out there. Didnt see it but heard she put it out there that she has something coming on some cable station. Will not be tuning in bc she’s old and sad

    And she’s a terrible actress. Taylor sucked the life out of the SNL 40th Anniversary skit she did. It was very noticeable how awful she was.

    Do I think she’ll make a good actress? Yes. She’s been pretending she’s not a sh*tty human being for however many years already. Only blip in her acting career so far were Valentine’s Day and The Giver. Her cameo in the Hannah Montana movie was Oscar-worthy.

    Not surprised at all. She is probably going to be terrible as an actress, as evidenced by her cameo in the film Valentine’s Day with Taylor Lautner…….who she bearded for briefly.

    My first thought was Beyonce but that “interview” was clearly completely staged, and also quite boring — so no perception of “casual, spontaneous and real.”
    Based on the similar blind, I’ll say Lady Gaga.

    I actually don’t, she’s stiff when she performs on SNL and if that’s the level of skill that she has then maybe she needs get an acting coach or leave it completely alone, I have to turn the channel when she’s on it (SNL).

    If this is about Taylor Swift, has anyone watched those Vogue 72 question interviews? They all have the questions answered and rehearsed ahead of time! This shouldn’t even be an issue.

    And no, I don’t think she’ll be a good actress at all unless she has gotten better since Valentine’s Day.

      Just stick with what you know, right? How many models or actor/actresses have tried to be singers w/o much success (and vice versa) bc nobody had the cajones to tell them the truth? Look at the people who audition for “American Idol”. The whole reason I couldn’t watch the show was the auditions. Seriously, did some of those people have totally tone deaf framily? I went on empathy overload and just could not watch that show – and I couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket!

    Of course this is. TAy Tay, I believe it was labeled as 73 questions..saw it and thought this had to have been rehearsed, her answers were quick and carefully thought out, controlled yes…she is the master of her image.

      Watch other celebrities’ answers. They are all rehearsed, not just Taylor’s.
