Yes, she was crying. She didn’t eat much before the party and then she drank too much. Disaster. It’s not the first time this has happened. Some people get excited and happy when they’re drunk. She tends to get sad and overemotional and once she’s crying she can’t stop! She really needs to stop doing this in public, though.

As a side note, we found out that her crying wasn’t caused by some major catastrophe. From a different source:

Some drunk party-goer just made a snippy comment to her about her outfit and about how she was a nobody because they had never heard of her, and that seemed to set her off.

She’s very young. It takes time for celebrities to develop a thick skin against hurtful comments… and to learn how to stay in control at public events.

    Poor thing, it’s mortifying when something like that happens. I really like her and what’s funny is whoever said they didn’t know who she was before will more than likely have a much shorter career than her and was probably dressed like a tart.

    If you haven’t heard of Saorise Ronan you must have been living on Mars: “She is a two-time Academy Award nominee; receiving Best Supporting Actress nomination for Atonement, and a Best Actress nomination for Brooklyn.”

    And has done about 20 movies in total. Good ones.

    I’m guessing Selena Gomez. Her outfit was way too casual for the Met Gala and kind of ugly. What was up with the leather bit?

    I’m a happy drunk mostly, but I might cry later with regrets. 😉

    I have no idea who this actress is, but I can’t believe somebody would put her down to her face like that. I’m trying to think of someone new and vulnerable that would be so sensitive. All I come up with Soirse Ronan but she’s not THAT young and she’s been around now for a while. Better not be her or I’m going to have to kick some butt.

    I’m happy and lovey at first when drinking, but too much hard liquor (Vodka) I want to fight.

    I’ll guess Brie Larson. She seems like the type who would bawl when she gets drunk. She seems very emotional in general (hugging all of the rape survivors at the Oscars). Runner-up guess would be Alicia Vikander. Although you’d have to be living under a rock not to know who she is. She was in like a thousand movies in the last two years.

      Yuppers. She doesn’t have the best stylist and it’s another outfit with an unfortunate seam that goes up her vagina. 🙁

      My first thought as well- and she’s done this before. Can’t remember the event but she got weepy at some big thing and Taylor Swift had to hustle her out.

      I don’t think Selena is that young any more – she’s been on tv for at least 15 years of her life. Or more.
