The Bloodline

[Blind Gossip] There is a rumor going around that this famous couple is going to adopt a child!

That is the kind of move that could throw their family history into turmoil.

Except… the story is not true!

Fitting in with the family is of paramount importance to her, and perpetuating the bloodline via birth is part of that. She had a rough start as far as family is concerned, so she does not wish to vex them any further. Adoption would be too controversial.

The plan is to have at least two children in the next five years. They would only consider adoption after they have all their children… or if they pass the five-year mark with nothing to show for it.

    Actually it’s all commonwealth country’s business. If people are born into wealth and privilege they should expect to be judged by those of us under their reign.

    They should not adopt. With their record of using humanitarianism as public relations, it is not recommended. Adoption should not be used to indicate the virtue of the adopter, the “saving” of a child, or the demonstration of non-colonialism. Also, in a family in which bloodlines are held as important, this child will always feel insecure, no matter what the public face/branding is. Neither individual involved is familiar with the experience and won’t be able to compensate.

    I don’t understand all the royal rules. Don’t say this, don’t wear that. Why would anyone want to live such a suffocating, controlling life is beyond me.

    Harry is so far down the line for becoming King that it doesn’t matter who or what the child is. They could adopt a dog and it wouldn’t matter.

    Meghan Markle and Harry. I can’t imagine that would ever be allowed, but she’s getting up there in age and may not be able to have biological children.

    As a British person. I know thus would not go down well. Royalty (as outdated as some people think it is) only really works through blood. She needs to pop out some of her own if she wants to court people’s favour. If she wants to adopt after they’ve divorced ‘ that’s on her but never before. Never before.

    If they’re already discussing adopting, my bet it she knows she can’t have children.

    And if they do adopt, they should become private citizens and not live off of the taxpayers dime. We complain having to pay for them anyway, why should one random kid be so lucky to get the same treatment?

    Harry will never be king, so honestly it doesn’t matter – their kids don’t even get the title of Prince/Princess, because they’re now so far down the line after the legal change to allow girls to inherit the throne. Charles … William … George … Charlotte … Louis … THEN it’s Harry. Honestly, what are the chances? Nil.

    Should they adopt? Only if they WANT to. But Meghan will have access to the best fertility treatment IF necessary so I doubt it will be considered.

    No they should not. These aren’t regular people. Bloodline is everything. She’s divorced and bi-racial and has a crazy family. She doesn’t need another strike against her. She’d better get pregnant quick! LOL

    Only if they adopt from the UK. But they (like most celebrities) have to go abroad to “save” people, when there are just as many poor children in their home countries. Ridiculous.

    There is NO adoption in the royal family. There are affairs and illegitimate children, but no adoption. I don’t think Harry and Meghan would bring a random child into such a public life, anyway.

    I think they’ve delayed their official honeymoon because Meghan’s having IVF / egg retrieval. Fertility plummets dramatically from 35 onward, so they need to do that while they still can.

    This is obviously Meghan and Harry. Yes there plan makes a lot of sense. It makes sense that she only has 5 years to attempt to concieve (isn’t she 37 or 38?). My friend is doing to same, trying til she can’t anymore, then adopt. But I’d assume that Meghan and Harry have endless funds available for unlimited cycles of assisted reproductive technology, in which normal people like my friends, have to come up with $ every time. Should definitely adopt, especially if she can’t have any on there…

    I don’t think they should do either, adopt or have children. Not right now ,They should wait and be sure it’s going to stick, after all this isn’t her first go round with marriage, and like it or not.. most people who have multiple marriages under their belt already end up with more divorces.

    If the BRF can accommodate the legalities, by personality Harry and Meghan are perfect candidates to adopt, even if they have natural children.

    If he still is without a family, let them at least become sponsors/guardians to Mutsu, Harry’s young Sentebale friend, and see that he is educated, settled in a profession, and always has a home with them in the UK when he needs it. I like Mutsu.

      Well, William and Kate got a dog when they were first married then quickly abandoned it to the staff when they had kids.

    Meg and Harry. If they pass the five year mark and no children, Harry will jettison her. I hardly think they will last five years, maybe three. I think Harry already has seconds thoughts about marrying her so quickly. The purpose of that was to have children before she is too old. He wants his own biological children. He won’t hesitate to divorce and remarry a younger girl to get children.

    Optional: Under the time parameters they’ve set forth above, yes. But do they WANT to adopt? That’s extremely critical to adopting.

    Not to be selfish, can Meghan just get pregnant already so I don’t have to keep seeing the same false story on every tabloid at Walgreens? I’m also waiting to see if they chose to give their children the prince/princess title. My guess is yes because Meghan will obviously want it and despite how Harry is always complaining about his lack of privacy, you know he loves the positive attention he’s been getting recently.

    Nothing wrong with them adopting as it’s very unlikely any kids of theirs will get anywhere near the throne. She’s no spring chicken, but they will pull out ALL the stops to have children naturally, IVF, secret surrogacy if necessary.

    In their case, it is not good to adopt because the British public will crucify a non bloodline child. The British public are complaining about the cost of the true bloodline royals less a non bloodline child.
