Suddenly Written Off The Show

[Blind Gossip] Your friends at Blind Gossip were the first to tell you in 2017 that these two celebrities were dating.

Now we are going to be the first to tell you the real reason they broke up!

This young actress dated her much-older costar/boss on a prime time TV series.

Things went fine. Until…

He got her pregnant. He really wanted her to keep the baby. She felt like she was too young and just starting out in her career. They fought about it a lot. She terminated the pregnancy. He was so mad about it that he made it really uncomfortable for her to even be around him.

Going through something like that made it difficult to even be in the same space together.

Not surprisingly, after voicing her concerns and taking action, they broke up and she left the show immediately after this happened.

So, if you were wondering why our young actress and her character were suddenly written off the show in an awkward way, wonder no more!

It is almost always a bad idea to date your boss/your coworker/someone old enough to be your Dad.

It is definitely a bad idea to date someone who is all three of those things!

    Based on the majority of the guesses all I can say is: Wow I am shocked! Didn’t see that coming at all. The Orville is one of my favorite shows right now. I did wonder what happened to her on the show and the sudden write off… I don’t miss her though, her replacement fits the similar character much much better than Halston Sage did.

      I don’t watch the show but I told my husband why she was written off the show and he says the replacement is so much better.

      How on earth do you consider yourself “pro-choice” if only the father wanted the pregnancy? And you feel that she should have continued the pregnancy simply because he wanted her to? That is forced birth and certainly has nothing to do with a woman’s choice.

    Did she do the right thing?
    HE didn’t get HER pregnant. It takes two. They should have had a discussion about pregnancy and babies when they started having sex and entered into a relationship. I don’t know if they used birth control and it failed or if they didn’t use any at all. If she didn’t want a baby and didn’t do anything to prevent a pregnancy it’s inexcusable imo.

    I have to say I am pro choice, it’s not my life, but every healthy woman in an relationship, who can afford medical care and every contraceptive method, and gets pregnant unwanted, is an idiot in my eyes. Abor*ion is not contraception. It was before modern contraception, but now there are healthier options. And yes, guys also should care, but ther have only limited options, and if he don’t care, because he would like to be a dad it’s your responsibillity.

    No idea about the parties involved.
    Did she do the right thing? She has a legal right to terminate but she had to be really naive to think she could do this and keep going with the show. He was her boss, her co-star and much older. He had the power.
    I can see the guy being upset. Yes, she owns her own body but the developing body inside of her carried half of his DNA. Why wouldn’t he be upset?
    I hope she learned her lesson to use birth control in the 21st century. Her unborn child did.

      He has every right to be upset, but he’s the one who impregnated someone who didn’t want to be pregnant. He should have been more careful.

      Viv… No. SHE was the one who didn’t want to be impregnated so it is HER responsibility to protect herself, especially since there are more options available to her. Why should he worry about being careful if he would be excited at the prospect of a child? Not to mention, she could have refused intimacy with him if she was concerned about his lack of “glove.” Your comment is baffling.

      Let’s face it: BOTH are idiots…SHE for not tripling up on protection (as we who don’t want kids do) and HE for treating a woman as his personal baby-making machine. It’s the woman who has to deal with a pregnancy she doesn’t want (and then be responsible for a human the rest of her life) so naturally she gets to decide whether to terminate. Perhaps it’s unfair from the male prospective but that’s life.

    Halston Sage and Seth Macfarlane. Clues: space – their show was set in outer space and voice- he voices multiple characters in most of his shows. Yes, she did the right thing. If he wants a kid that bad, then he can pay a surrogate or adopt one.

      It really isn’t cool, or even logical, to suggest replacing a baby. Sometimes the grief expectant parents feel when they lose an unborn child has nothing to do with their desire to be parents; it’s about the baby losing its life, so suggesting other avenues for having kids misses the point.

      What does “real say” look like? Locking her up in a room and forcing her to remain pregnant and give birth? He expressed his opinion, made her life difficult and they both moved on.

      Legally, no man has any “real say” about decisions a woman makes about what goes on in her body. This is codified in her rights to privacy.

      It is her body and her choice, but there is nothing wrong with feeling empathy for him. It’s a terrible situation for everyone involved, his feelings shouldn’t be discarded or dismissed though. Though it was just cells, I am sure he feels like he lost a child and the what ifs won’t ever leave him. It’s a hard contraceptive lesson.

      Cote wanted more time off (and probably a bit more money too, considering she basically did all her own stunts on the show). Also, given the way the cast reacted publicly when she left… I would’ve wanted out, too.
