Stiff As a Board

hug awkward[Blind Gossip] They may have looked like a couple in front of the cameras, but these two singers acted very differently backstage!

I was in the crossover while they were prepping to go on stage and then I was off left. I was watching them the whole time but they just ignored each other and didn’t even look at each other.

Once they were on stage, though, it was exactly the opposite and he stared at her the whole time.

After they exited, a photog was there to take a quick pic. [Male Singer] went in to give her a hug but she just kind of stiffened up and stood there. Awkward!

There was nothing casual or familiar about how they interacted with each other. It was clumsy. I don’t believe for a minute that they are in a relationship.

One more thing: They sounded HORRIBLE together. Their voices just don’t match up at all. Some of the crew was actually wincing when she sang, and these are people who have heard everyone over the years!

    Went to a taping of the voice and they literally only talked when they were being photographed.. Also it’s weird how the only leaks on set have pretty much solely consisted of Gwen/Blake……. Or not. Because it’s fake.

    I’m sad that Gwen has messed up her face. Whatever happened to aging gracefully? She always seemed like a confident girl who was too cool to care. I guess not

    Can I just say- I always thought Gwen was so cool- I really can’t believe she has stooped to this level to sell her music, just can’t believe it, it’s so uncool.

    I dunno if they’re a real couple or not, I’m not sure it matters. They saw an opportunity to boost their careers and they took it.

    As far as the stiffness, if she’s an introvert (and he’s an extrovert obviously), it may not be about him at all, she might’ve been nervous or overstimulated because of the performance and needed some time.

    No they don’t look or sound like a couple. They both seem like two scorned lovers that have yet to get over the ‘supposed’ humiliation of a relationship that ended.

    Obviously Blake and Gwen and I don’t think they are in a real relationship. But I do have to say this is actually the most genuine relationship thing I’ve ever heard of them. Who hasn’t had those days where you are pissed off at your partner and want nothing to do with them but then fake it at a party or something?

    Optional: No they don’t look like a real couple but if I were on the fence this BI wouldn’t convince me one way or the other.

    Obviously Gwen and Blake – just wanted to say that I was involved in production of a very early No Doubt show, and couldn’t believe that anyone would EVER hand her a hot mic. She was seriously the worst singer I’ve ever worked with. It was obvious they were marketing themselves based solely on her looks and quirky image. She’s basically always been the alt-rock version of Britney Spears.

    She sounded horrible and I think an iceberg would have given off more heat than those two. I wanted to believe they were a genuine couple, but that was painful to watch.
