Solo Star Tantrums

man-crying-7[Mid Day] He is mostly seen in ensemble films, but being the solo lead of an upcoming film has given this actor some starry airs.

The production team is exasperated handling his tantrums. The actor invariably turns up late for promotions and is always in a hurry to leave. Recently, he kept the paparazzi waiting for hours and then whisked them away saying he wasn’t in the mood to be snapped.

His congenial nature seems a thing of the past and his team is surprised by his brash behavior. Is the burden of carrying a film single-handedly to be blamed, or is there a version to the story we are unaware of?

    It can’t be the Rock. My husband filmed with him on Ballers this past winter and said he was one of the nicest, most genuine people he’s ever met. He is also extremely professional on set.

    I’m guessing Fawad Khan, known for acting in ensemble casts like “Kapoor & Sons.” He’s playing the solo lead in the upcoming action hero movie Maula Jatt 2, and recently exhibited diva-ish behavior at the IIFA Rocks award ceremony.

    Miles Teller? He seems so trashy now that he’s gone all Hollywood. His girlfriend looks like a trashy stripper who uses him as his claim to fame. You should see her instagram account. It’s laughable.

    Alden Ehrenreich. The Untitled Han Solo movie. The clues are sprinkled through the item, but since not that many people are aware of it or him yet everyone is going to guess Chris Pratt.

    I understand that this is make-or-break, but that’s no reason to treat there’s badly. Also, it’s Star Wars. It will do well and not because of the cast or lead.

    Can’t think of him at the mo, but when an actor behaves like this it’s a classic sign of insecurity. The whole industry is well aware of this tried & true defeatist, childish behaviour from talent. The actor will behave badly to sabotage themselves in order reinforce the failure they already feel.

    The producer should talk to the actor’s agent who should then tell the talent to see his shrink and get on board.

    I think its sadly Chris Pratt–stars–Guardians of Galaxy. But I really REALLY don’t want it to be! He seems so happy and like such a nice guy.

      Everyone guessing this is funny. Harrison Ford helmed a TON of franchises from Indiana Jones Jacky Ryan etc. What would be ‘solo’ about him now rejoining an ensemble in STAR WARS movies?

      He is SO ensemble with Suicide Squad and has been a one man show many times PRIOR to this big star vehicle. Sounds backwards.

    First thought was Joseph Gordon Levitt?! Snowden for the movie. Def not sure though. He seems like a down to earth guy, still, in his current press tour for the movie and has a non showbiz wife (I believe) and new baby

      Or Alden Ehrenreich, who was recently cast as a young Han Solo. Guy in the pic vaguely resembles him.

      I think you’re right!

      Ive been following him for years and he was always very vocal about his disapproval of celebrities and the paparazzii. Hes only been doing non indie flicks for a few years now so i can totally see him not handling the attention to well.
