contract 5[Blind Gossip] You already know that this singer enjoys her dr*gs. Her boldness in consuming them, however, may be hitting an all-time high!

When she was recently discussing the rider for a future performance, she asked if they could add something beyond the usual food and drinks. She wanted to know if she could request that the venue supply some smokable refreshments.

Needless to say, her legal counsel and management rejected the addition.

    I’m going to guess Rihanna.

    If I had a rider I’d ask if there were any domestic violence shelters and I would take all of the women there to get hot stone massages, mani pedi’s and pay for a wardrobe for all of them as well as let them go to a nice dinner at Ruth’s Chris steak house. I’d also ask for a ice cream and candy bar after the concert and a fridge of fiji water.

    Miley. Prob a venue in Colorado. Can’t hurt to ask although good that legal counsel advised against.

    My rider would have backgammon, a deck of cards, a trampoline, organic pink lady or honey crisp apples, panda black licorice candy, and prosecco.

      Coffee comes from beans, but caffeine is a “drug”. Aspirin from willow bark, but is a “drug”. Heroin is derived from poppies, a flower, but is a “drug”. I’m pro-weed, but I just wanted to put in my two cents.

      False logic, these are completely different arguments. One of these things is significantly different to the others, which was the OPs point.

      Weed is to heroin as sugar cane is to high fructose corn syrup.

      You are my hero. I am so sick of the ignorant weed is not a drug statements. Yet the same people want to get prescriptions for it, like..you know.. a drug.

      Except your argument doesn’t make any sense because you don’t always need a prescription to attain weed (legally)…many states like Colorado and Washington have legalized it recreationally. You can buy it at a store just like alcohol or coffee, which could also call “drugs.” Weed is probably going to become legal soon in most states because most lawmakers realize it’s not that dangerous like oh I don’t know, prescription drugs?? Funny how people are eager to put chemicals in their bodies…

      So is heroin. I’m not against weed, but it being a plant has nothing to do with anything.

      I am also thinking Miley or Rihanna and I kind of get it. You can’t get through customs with it; it’s not fair to put that burden on an employee; and you want some assurance that the drug is what you want (not some dangerous mix) – perhaps she mistakenly thinks this is better than making friends with the local druggies.

      I don’t do drugs, so I’d ask for the room to be decorated with local…

      Most drugs originally came from some sort of plant derivative. A plant can be a drug. Shrooms are plantlike. Heroin is from a poppy. Cocaine was originally from coca leaves.

      Tour rider: 25% of ticket sales goes straight to programs for youth at risk.

      I used to be in charge of concert riders for a large venue in Atlanta. I would secure “entertainment” for the talent (aka strippers) but there is NO way any facility would okay providing illegal substances for talent. Too much liability plus you don’t put that in writing. Plenty of folks who assist locally with load in, etc that can provide additional “items”, but no way in hell would a venue accept that.

      And as an interesting side note, the whole crazy things on the rider was started…
